BIPAP, help please

Post by Squishy » Mon Mar 05, 2018 3:05 am

Hello everyone,
New member here, I have had my Bipap for about 4 months.
I have downloaded Sleepyhead - But I cannot make much sense of it.
I seem to have most events between 1am and 2am? -
Is there any way to get my AHI down?
Thanks in advance

2 possible causes...either REM stage sleep or sleeping on your back...or maybe a combination of REM while sleeping on your back. My first thought is REM because that's a time frame when REM is likely to happen but you don't seem to have it at other times that REM is also likely to happen so maybe it's a combination of REM and sleeping position. Maybe during the other REM stages you aren't on your back.

Looks like minimum EPAP is already up there for whatever reason when this happens and I am not so sure that there is a change that could be made to better deal with those events (assuming they are obstructive and not central). Your machine is already doing about all it can do.
