Re: AHI low, only given for therapy?
It's true Chunkyfrog, it's always a question of money but that's not our problem. I myself have been in therapy for 4 years without any assistance program, I pay up to the last penny of all the things I use for my therapy. I'm interested in your opinion on the report I have attached. Looking at the ...

AHI low, only given for therapy?
Goodmorning everyone. I kindly ask you for your opinion on the outcome of the polysomnography and on the diagnosis and prognosis released by the specialist to my wife. I'm very worried about his snoring but also all the disturbances. In our country, the threshold for entering PAP therapy is AHI> 15 ...

Re: High flow oxygen therapy
I thank all of you for your comments. The situation is very difficult and gets worse as the days go by. Now, physiological solution is no longer a big problem. My mother-in-law is very tired and depressed. She lives attached to the oxygen tank for many years. In 2017, she ended up in the emergency r...

Re: High flow oxygen therapy
Thanks rcobourn. The situation is as follows: in hospital for 15 days they used water for injectable solutions. When the patient was discharged from the hospital, the doctor said to use the same solution, but it isn't found on the market like that, the doctor said that the physiological solution is ...

High flow oxygen therapy
My mother-in-law is seriously ill (COPD) and she has a high flow oxygen therapy (10-12 l / m) with humification at 37 degrees Celsius. Use an AIRVO2 from Fisher & Paykel. I am worried because the doctor said to use physiological solution for the humidifier rather than distilled water. Your advice wi...

Re: Are my pressure settings okay?
ok,
I prefer the Resmed method, checking the graph, I can better understand my flow limitation.
The Respironics flag says nothing about the magnitude of the flow limitation, it can be big or small, I will not know it.
Thank you Pugsy and Palerider

Re: Are my pressure settings okay?
Pugsy you are a real well of knowledge! I still have a curiosity: With the Resmed chart, I see a continuous line rising and falling and its amplitude is directly proportional to the gravity of the flow limitation. Respironics, how do you set a flow limit flag? Which benchmarks do you analyze to put ...

Hello,
just out of curiosity, I'd like to see the flow limitation chart, if available.
Thank you.

Re: AirFit-F10 vs. F20 opinion?
Our ideas on masks are subjective, there is no perfect mask for anyone. I used both masks. The F20 is my favorite, it's very comfortable and excellent pneumatic seal. The F10 for me has problems of sealing around the nose but, it's fantastic for its lightness, simplicity and ease of use and cleaning...
