Today "que du bonheur"
Today "que du bonheur"
Last night I slept really well, is that what is called “sound full” ? … never mind, I did not hear anything !
Actually it scared the hell out of me when I woke up. No pain? Rested? Am I dead now ???
Was it the moon ? no full moon at least. Was it spring fever ? Mood disorder ? I would give a lot to find out what is was…
Can I repeat it ?
I am a scientist, yea write and so what !
At work 70 to 90% of my experiments are not reproducible. And this simply because I did not pay enough attention to parameters that changed when I thought they would not.
But today is just amazing ... that is why it is called a present.

Hope it repeats tomorrow - maybe S. Hawking's looking down and helping!

I like your drawing!
Glad you slept so well!
Glad you slept so well!
I read a comprehensive article that said this is a common problem that has gotten worse in recent decades. If I remember correctly, it's because the easy experiments have been done. Science has moved on to much more complicated matters.

Please do NOT try to have the same day, or night, twice. Theoretical physicists (and even a few of the real ones) hypothesize that were you to succeed, we might ALL wake up dead that day, which would put an immediate end to all forms of experimental reproduction. And life is an unpredictable parameter that should never get factored out. Oh, and where can I get me one of them there zap thingies?

Huuuh... where did the quote button go ?
Do I have to manually quote now ?
No Groundhog Day, at least not there yet. AND, guess what, I screwed up the experiment last night. Actually I cannot believe it. Last night I woke up myself biting into the hose
I am now almost 2 years on CPAP and so far I can swear I never have been biting the hose. How stupid can I be... ? ? ?
Later today I thought I must have dreamed it. How the heck could I have chowed on my hose with a FF ?
So back home I had to check SH... the full night. And here is the detail, at 3:47 I was chowing on that hose. I did not dream it. I guess I am not there yet, science can be frustrating...

Well, oups, thanks for the kind thoughts... No, not a physicist, way to complicate. They come up with a hypothesis and then do "the" experiment. If the results fit the hypothesis, they repeat and repeat and .. "the" experiment until they can convince themselves that there is no pitfall in the hypothesis. Then they sets up experiments, many of them, just to prove that this hypothesis could be wrong. And if this fails, the hypothesis may become a theorem.

Aah, so that's how it works. Thanks for the explanation! As for eating the hose. . . would it be better with some sort of sauce or gravy?esel wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 5:18 pmNo, not a physicist, way to complicate. Re: Today "que du bonheur"
I wish, I wish I was a fish... Just curious, does anyone have seen a fish on CPAP ? can they have OA's or centrals ?Thanks for the explanation! As for eating the hose. . . would it be better with some sort of sauce or gravy?
As to some gravy, if in the hose, there could be an other problem. I should go with the sauce then. The thing is, I well remember having fought a lot with the hose in the first few month in my new CPAP romance. I move a lot during sleep and sometimes it ended up around my neck. But with time the love hate relation had calmed, the hose had tamed me and we now have a good symbiotic relationship : How can I change the color of these yellow fellows ? I want a pink one ..
The thing is that I had no intention to bite it and lucky me, checking carefully, no holes Pffuuu... no need to tape it up. Should I tape up my mouth ? Any suggestions here ?
Oh NOOO, I must be sick then... One more parameter I have to get a handle on. Just thought it is the men's menopause.Re: Could do with a bit of moral support/commiseration

I used to get hot flashes and night sweats when my apnea was untreated.
This is common among people who have long apneas. The apneas drive your blood pressure up, and your body tries to get it down by eliminating water. Thus, sweat and nocturia.
Glad you are being treated now!

I just figured I was sick or something.

Having once bitten the air sausage, you found neither flavor nor nutrition.
You are less likely to try again.
Hint: Don't go to bed hungry.

French people are champions, not for many things, but for the time spend at the dining table... Lucky me going, hungry to bead is not likely to happen. I'll protect my hose. This sure is important.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 10:27 amHaving once bitten the air sausage, you found neither flavor nor nutrition.
