Post by springman946 » Sun Mar 18, 2018 4:03 pm

hello all I got a brand new aircurve 10 ASV bi-pap machine from my DME they had to pull teeth to get my insurance to pay for a new machine becuase it was just going to be too expensive to repair my old one and I was wondering what should I set my tubing temperature to in the winter time I turn the setting up and down depending on the weather outside if its like 14 degrees out I am going to put it higher if its 40 -50 degrees out then I am going to lower the setting to like 62 or ever turn it off has I don't need it during the warmer months

It has more to do with the ambient temperature in the bedroom than what the temp might be outside unless you aren't using supplemental heat.

Use whatever is comfortable (feels good) to you and start with that.

You want it warm enough to be comfortable and keep condensation away if you happen to keep your bedroom really cool in the winter.

You want warmer temps if you are getting condensation.
