Re: Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask Review
I'm quite small myself. Amara View fit me in small, but I think the headgear was too large. If I remember right, XS cushion hurt my cheeks but otherwise fit better than S. I don't have any of my old Dreamwear parts anymore. I don't think insurance will pay for a S frame after I've already gotten th...

Re: Am I a CPAP failure?
AHI was 9.5 last night. Also reported significant leaks. I don't know what to do now. I'm having surgery on Monday and won't be up for getting out for at least a week. What to do next: 1: Download Sleepyhead software, and install it. 2: Work on fixing your leaks. Until you have a handle on these AS...

Re: Red Face/Green Face
I have been tracking my leak rate and AHIs for the last month using my four different masks because I was very curious how each one rated. One thing I have noticed with the red face-green face icons on the machine is that they are somewhat inconsistent in that I can have a red face with a leak "sco...

Re: Aerophagia issues
MikeBear, what have you done to try to fix the issue......I will say, I have a massive headache this am....my guess is, a lack of oxygen intake.....I have not had a headache like this before......and yes, stomach lining irritation......which is causing ringing in the ears for sure.... I started tap...

Re: Irritated Skin from Cold
I use it every night! Bought mine at Walmart, in the baby department. $8.95 and I bet that tube will last me 10 years.zonker wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 9:11 pm+1chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:20 pmLanolin based formulas are silicone compatible.

Re: P10 vent question
I'm a stomach sleeper, will it be able to vent okay from only one side at a time? I'd hate to think I'm breathing CO2 all night long. If you are a stomach sleeper, IMO the P10 mask will NOT work for you. I am presently using the same mask, and I tend to roll on my stomach. When I do, it dis...

Re: Aerophagia issues
Have you posted any Sleepyhead charts so people can see what your stats are over the time you've used your machine? We really need that to get an idea. Aerophagia is nasty, I'm just getting over a full month of a nasty bout of it, and it was bad enough at times I almost went to the Emergency room as...

Re: 18 year old with mild sleep apnea - will I ever recover?
12 is on the higher side for starting out and without using Sleepyhead you won't know what other factors may be involved to allow you to possibly lower the pressure but address other things you aren't aware of now. Why not download the program and get a real look at what happens for a couple of nig...

Re: Snoring Husband - Help!
Ok, so moving to another bedroom won't work. If you can't convince him that sleep apnea can be fatal and it would be in his best interest to get tested, then I suggest you buy a very large life insurance policy on him.

Move to another bedroom. If he protests, tell him you won't move back until he gets tested.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Just ordered the Dreamwear Gel mask from Cpap.com. I will report on success! or failure. I have a suspicion this will be great. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I appreciate it. If the Gel pillow you try seems to want to go or climb up a bit inside your nose a little too easy, you are going...

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Have you tried either the F&P Brevida or the Dreamwear Gel pillows? Both are very comfortable, and don’t leak ( for me anyway) turning side to side. The Brevida is easier to fit I think - just different size pillows. For the Dreamwear there are 2 sizes for the headgear ( most people use the M, whic...
