Re: Backwards

I'm excited this morning - had a night of all zero's - Perfect Score according to SH. Of course this doesn't mean I didn't wake up like normal, but I took special care to move slowly and went back to sleep fairly quick. It doesn't mean I wasn't tempted to remove the mask, but I thought about it and ...

Re: Backwards

Thanks Pugsy - a lot to take in and go through - probably sort though it a couple times. I know for most that 6 hours sleep is not enough, but when I go beyond 6 hours I feel terrible the entire day. It's only been 15 years when I was living on 1-2 hours per night while I was a caretaker for my husb...

Re: Backwards

Good morning and welcome foamer! Two things - 1. Pugsy, I did answer your questions, think they just got lost in the little interruption. 2. I added SleepyHead but I am still using the Phillips as well - just to compare. Why would there be a major difference on some things - for example, this mornin...

Re: Backwards

Some questions for Rebamom Do you take any medications of any king and if you do what? Is your 6 ish hours of sleep using cpap fragmented with many wake ups? Any other physical or mental health issues going on? Is your nasal congestion worse than usual since starting cpap? What setting are you usin...

Re: Backwards

So I tried something a bit different last night. I had forgotten to take a pain pill night before, so I did resume with that, but more importantly, I got into bed about 10 minutes sooner than normal and just watched TV until my heart quit racing, then put on the Cpap mask and turned on machine. Was ...

Re: Backwards

Julie, those are the reports from the program they told me to use. I joined the Sleepyhead, but will have to wait until I get home to download. Thank you.

Re: Backwards

Thanks Julie - and I will check humidity. I also have serious sinus problems, had them since I was a child, so taking something is not unusual for me.

Think I attached these right now.

Re: Backwards

I do use it every night and I sleep basically six hours per night. I used to fall asleep as soon as I hit the pillow, but now it takes 30 to 45 minutes to get to sleep. I usually take it off about 15 minutes before getting up, alarm goes off, mask goes off and snooze goes on for 15 minutes. (Think t...

Re: Anyone Else Have Felt 'Crippled' By This Stupid Disorder?

No I don't feel crippled, but I do feel different. I have only been using Cpap for a couple weeks and still struggling with the whole process, but I have resolved myself that having a small sleep disorder is far better than worrying about if I will have a heart attack and not enjoy watching my grand...

I've been using my Cpap for about 15 days and thought I was adjusting normally. Prior to using this device, I did not have the complaints that so many due - I had plenty of energy to get through a day and driving was never a problem. I did have chest pains on a regular basis, some days consistently ...

Re: New Beginnings are terrifying!

Thanks Daisy! I was doing fine with the mask until last night when for no reason I know of, I ripped it off my face and went back to sleep. May try that with the hose, but it seems I may not have to - since using the Cpap I have been laying stiff as a board to sleep and when I need to roll over, the...
