has been or will be discontinued so I need new masks. Mine is a medium.
If you switched from a Mirage Activa to another, which ones did you try and what do you like or dislike about the new ones? I can't use pillows and I don't want a full face mask. Thanks

Re: atrial flutter oxygen
I was in the hospital last weekend due to atrial flutter that caused me to go completely limp in about a second . My wife got me in bed and a few minutes later my arms began to shake uncontrollably. My pulse was 135/ AMR took me to that place where I hang out a lot. Several EKgs were performed and t...

OT -- does anyone know anything about heart attacks?
<t>I had a mild one Thurs at about 9:45 am. My chest started to hurt right above the sturnem up to the throat. It was not the “elephant-on- the-chest pain that I’ve heard them described as but it sure as heck hurt. I started to use some expletives. I took a full-size adult aspirin and called 9-1-1. ...

OT "key turners
Because of the progressive weakness of my hands I can no longer unlock the front door of our building. I’m looking for “key turners” that will allow me to insert the key and that have handles or something similar that I can slip my hand through and turn the key. Here are some candidates I’ve found o...

Re: head gear?
Sewing Velcro on it will probably be the best way to go. I had someone sew some on my newest gear and, God bless her little heart, she didn't put it where I told and showed her to. This what my hands look like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDAzlG7H19Y These are the masks I've tried and the reason...

head gear?
I use an Activa Nasal mask, size small. The head gear straps on the new ones I’ve been getting will not stay sealed. The Velcro -like stuff doesn’t work. Can anyone recommend any other head gear that would work with an Activa nasal, small? I’ve tried 5 or 6 masks of different sizes and cannot use th...

Re: bed wedge?
my apologies for forgetting the reason. Doctor's officer recommended it to lessen the likelihood of swallowing air. 45 is what his tech said which sounds sort of very much a lot more than makes sense to me Am making an appt with a gastro-enterologist to get tested/ideas/whatever for possible gastric...

I've been told I should get a bed wedge with about a 45 degree angle. Does anyone have any ideas about what to look for and avoid? Thanks

OT --- Wet macular degeneration
Any ideas? I was diagnosed with it in August in my left eye. A copy of my doctor's note is at the bottom, it's very accurate. That brown spot has turned black, I'm told that's normal. There is a corona of sorts at the edges, I am told that is blood. When I look at something straight on with my left ...

My new PCP is a DO not an MD. I picked her because I needed a new one & she was the first available. What experience do you have with DOs. I'm not dropping my sleep specialist at all. Just looking for comments. I have many health problems and been on SSDI for quite awhile. Thanks.

Warm up on AirCurve 10
What happens if I don't start using my AirCurve until after the word "Cooling" shows up? Can I run warm up at, for example, humidity level of 5 and, then once it's finished warming set it back to 4? How much water "boils off" seems to vary quite a bit from one night to the next even when I set the t...
