Re: Air sense 10 has lost its mind
Disconnect the mask & tubing from the machine and plug the outlet. If it still pulsing there may be a problem with the machine. It could just be moisture and will dry after a while. Put it on during the day and run it a while, it might clear up. Usually pulsing caused by the machine (not the tubing)...

Re: resmed s9
First pull off the humidifier and connect directly to the CPAP and see if it stops. Common humidifier leak areas: The seal between the humidifier and CPAP gets rolled over. (if so take out the tub and use you finger to get it from rolling as you put the CPAP/Humid back together). The seal around the...

If the flag is up, it doesn't mean you have to keep your mask on. You'll figure it out.

Re: DME fraud?
What is silly there is a cover that makes the humidifier in-op. There is a little magnet in it that toggles a switch in the CPAP. I guess they could give you that cover and not charge for the humidifier.

Re: respironics remstar servicing required
Craig did you do what I recommended on your other post about this? If a unit seats a while the blower sometimes it gets stuck. If there was high humidity when it was last used the blower sometimes gets stuck. If you spin the blower a little it "might" start working. I see this a lot with error codes...

Re: Resmed S9 Autoset power supply pin broke off in machine!
Have you called your DME and ask them if they have any spare power supplies? If so see if they will give it to you or sell it to your dirt cheap. $10

Re: respironics remstar servicing required
Unfortunately that message code is like an idiot light on a car, it can be a bunch of error code #s. The only thing that you can try is take apart and spin the blower a little in case it has a bad spot on the armature. If that works it will most likely do it again in the future.

Re: Resmed S9 Autoset power supply pin broke off in machine!
FYI: The S9 is know for breaking off the pin in the power supply jack. The good news is you are allowed one broken pin before you have to open the CPAP and remove that pin. What I mean is: The broken off pin stuck in the CPAP doesn't have to be removed. All you have to do is get another power supply...

Re: Weird CPAP Sound Airsense 10
Blowers go bad early if people don't keep their filters clean, back flush water into it, and mainly sometimes they just do. Take out the filter and try to hear the noise coming from the inlet, it can be a clue that it's a bad blower.

Re: Difference in Manuals/Clinicians vs. Patient
Your attend their service school; then you get a manual and access to their service website for programs, updates, service parts, etc. Even DME employees, RT's can't get access to service website unless somebody has loss lips.xxyzx wrote:where do you get the service manual ?

Re: Unusual Problem - Anyone else have this?
It could have an internal leak but I doubt it. I had one once but it was dropped. What I would do is go visit your RT/DME with you full setup and have them help you find the leak. They can grab another CPAP, swab out parts, to troubleshoot the problem. Don't forget to take your full setup.
