Hey folks...
I was able to get DreamWear FF mask from a technician friend for testing. He sent me large frame and large cushion and I have to say, this mask is amazing so far. Being full bearded guy, I am able to hold leaks under control and mask feels pretty comfortable.
Here are last 3 nights.
First night I took a nap during a day with it and then the rest is night.
My biggest concerns for me are CA events that night:
This is first CA event that night:
Second CA event that night: (there were few more to the end of my sleep)
Here is a second night... After reading about CA events, I decided to turn off EPR. But also lowered pressure a little bit, because I have a huge air buildup in my stomach next day which makes me burp and gassy (that lowering pressure didn't really help a lot)
Here is a third night, same pressure (as U can see hitting the max):
And finally last night, where I decided to bring pressure little higher to avoid the machine not being able go higher when needed... but also more CA events:
Last night first CA event:
Last night second CA event:
Last night obstructive event:
Is there any reason to worry and chase those CA events?
And, being 4 months in with therapy, Aerophagia is kicking my butt recently... seems like I cant go any lower with pressure to avoid hitting the MAX line on machine... but also, not liking the bloating feeling and gassiness.
Any advice is welcome and THANK YOU!

Re: last night with DreamWear FF mask... questions.
No. None....not enough of them even if they were all the real deal to worry about and I see one (the first one) that is probably SWJ and not real.
Turning EPR off didn't help your centrals because your centrals aren't caused by EPR.
Yeah...a few people EPR can trigger centrals but the % of those people using cpap is very small and you aren't in that group.
Quit trying to avoid hitting the max...doesn't hurt anything for the machine to hit the max part or even all the night.
Just because it wants to go higher doesn't mean you just have to let it go higher...because if it goes higher the aerophagia monster comes for a visit and he is a lot worse for how you feel then not letting the machine go higher would be causing a problem.
Sometimes the machine going higher causes more problems than it fixes and when that happens we simply don't let it go where it might want to go.
Turn EPR back on...quit worrying about the centrals...get rid of the aerophagia and feel and sleep better...and if your AHI doesn't go above 2.0 (obstructive component) with EPR being used...quit worrying about hitting the max....sit back and learn to enjoy the new mask.

You can chase all you like, but your machine can't do anything about your centrals. If you are trying to eliminate all events , it may be possible here and there but to do it on a regular basis in impossible. Your numbers look great...quit playing with the settings and work on sleepin better. Hitting the max line here and there is not a problem.cub4bearin wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 8:22 am

Your numbers are fantastic...I don't know why you are wasting your time worrying about them. I have been on CPAP for 10 years and have only seen a nightly number below 1.0 about 10 times.. I think I average between 1.5 and 2.0 but I don't know for sure because I rarely look at sleepyhead. I don't care as long as I feel good and sleep well.
