Purchased on Monday for $169 . Got a call a few hours later from CPAP.com asking if it was ok to reduce the price to $132.
What did you tell them?

Chest strap sensors need to be coated with water before use however.
This is a misleading statement. When I am putting on the strap, I place one drop of water with my finger tip on each of the two areas where the sensors are. The strap will send signals to the phone all night.

do most people that have mouth issue with air normally go to a full face mask?
That's what they are designed for.

With your low pressure requirements, it should be easy to use a FFM.

I know men who never wash the kitchen floor either.
I know women who clean the bottom of their dinner plates.

Re: SoClean 2 thoughts opinions??

I've been a SoClean user for about 3 years now. I generally avoid things that I think are 'overmarketed'. Also, my wife and I were very hesitant to spend the money but after a recent bout I had with pneumonia we decided to splurge. No, you two didn't decide to splurge. You decided to burn money. Th...

Re: I'm trying a dental device option

I was ok with the CPAP although it seems sorta drastic to do the CPAP ritual going to sleep then waking up and doing the cleaning ritual. If 50% of your problem with CPAP is a daily cleaning ritual, you need to adopt a more reasonable cleaning ritual. And what is with the nightly ritual? You just t...

Re: I'm trying a dental device option

As often argued here, a sleep study is just a one-night snapshot. Arguably, he'll know it works when he has been using it at home without CPAP, is able to tolerate the device and starts to feel healthy.

I do hope something works for him.

Re: I'm trying a dental device option

Well, Pugsy, you said it works well for lzicc. Dental devices can work well for some people and you were fortunate enough to be one of those people. But, as he has confirmed again this morning, no one knows whether it works for him. I still need to start using just the device without CPAP so my body...

Re: Does anyone ever just give up on cpap?

If you couple divine intervention with lifestyle and diet changes you have a very powerful force for healing. "Well the preacher kept right on saying that all I had to do was send Ten dollars to the church of the Sacred Bleeding Heart Of Jesus Located somewhere in Los Angeles, California And next w...

I offered to send these back or donate directly to the VA sleep clinic but no joy in spite of them being new/unopened.
I wouldn't have told that. It looks like a windfall profit for you - $230 - at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer.

I am very excited that the one night on the CPAP made me feel so good, I just hope it wasnt a case of the "placebo effect."
Maybe getting away from your wife for a night made all the difference?
