OSA, blood pressure and SLEEP!
So lucky me, I have severe OSA (+50 events/hour when I was tested 10-11 years ago), and high blood pressure that has recently been hard to control. Add to the mix, a new development of INSOMNIA! So I'm wondering what sleep aids I can use. Most of the Rx say not to use if you have OSA, or are approve...

Re: Resmed 10 - LOST DATA?
I think that was it, I just looked and it appears the clock did not revert to standard time from daylight savings when the time change occurred last month. I guess I need to turn off airplane mode for that! But I don't remember ever having to correct my Resmed 9, which had no wifi. Anyway - I just f...

Re: Resmed 10 - LOST DATA?
I am a major night owl and I have slept past noon in the past, but today I did NOT, which is why I was so confused. I have to get in there and check the clock, maybe it doesn't know what time it truly is!

Re: Resmed 10 - LOST DATA?
Thanks Pugsy, I will get an SD card. I just checked the machine again - older data has now reappeared (1 week, 1 month, etc.) - BUT it still says I used the machine for :01 last night, when I know I slept fine using it for at least 7-8 hours. I can't remember the last time I went into the "clock" fu...

Re: Resmed 10 - LOST DATA?
Thanks Pugsy. Apologies - it's been edited, I have an Airsense 10.
Nope - do not yet have the SD card yet. I can't get a regular one, right? I have to buy a Resmed one, or something specifically for a cpap?

Resmed 10 - LOST DATA?
I got a new Airsense 10 Autoset just before the pandemic, Feb 2020. But I continued using my trusty Resmed 9 till April 2022. I loved that machine - it worked perfectly for 9 years, till it just quit (it started up again but I thought it was time to let go). I finally unpacked the Airsense 10 in Apr...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset - endless DRONING
I'm confused by your post...what's whining the AS10 as stated in your heading, or AS11 that you said has been in your closet for 2 years? The AS11 hasn't been out that long. You're right! I read it over multiple times and still made that typo, which has been corrected. I unpacked the Airsense 10......

Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset - endless DRONING
So I'm late to the Airsense 10 party. I used my Resmed 9 Autoset nightly for almost exactly 9 years. But 25,557 hours later, it just stopped (I've had "warnings" for over a year). It did start again, but I thought it prudent to unpack the new Airsense 10 that has been sitting in my closet for 2 year...

How to know when CPAP machine is nearing the end?
I've had my Resmed 9 Autoset for 7+ years; it has more than 20,000 hours on it but it's humming along beautifully, I have no issues with it. To be on the safe side, before COVID struck, I did get a Resmed 10 AirSense Autoset just in case my old one went south and I couldn't get a new one, but I have...

New cpap cleaning gizmo, the "Maxhoo"
I admit it, I pretty much never clean my cpap, shame on me. Maybe the nasal pillows occasionally. I replace the tank and tubing maybe once annually. I have been fortunate to have just had one cold a year, sometimes two, since starting treatment 6 years ago. But a friend is trying to shame me into sa...

Travel to Mexico
Heading to Baja CA Sur soon, and wondering if an adapter is needed for my ResMed 9 Autoset? I called CPAP.com because I didn't think one was necessary but wanted to check. The operator said yes, it's Central America, but in googling, it seems that US, Canada & Mexico all use the same plugs, etc. Any...

New Portable CPAP Charger - The River
Saw this on The Grommet website. In the comments, the inventor says it can power a CPAP. Weighs 11 lbs., but could come in handy in an emergency. Anyone here have it, or heard of it? Sure ain't cheap, though. https://www.thegrommet.com/ecoflow-tech?utm_campaign=20171130&utm_content=44946&utm_medium=...

Night Guard
So I finally got a night guard, per my dentist's suggestion. I don't have TMJ and only occasionally have some tooth or gum sensitivity in the morning, but I know there are times when I must grind my teeth. I tried to use the guard last night but it just felt so weird that I took it out. Now I'm thin...

Wishful thinking...high-tech battery?
Okay, I'm sure this little gizmo can't power a cpap, but I thought I'd ask all the smarty-pants tech folks out there just in case. With new technology developments appearing daily, and all these crowd-funded projects, I'm hoping that a small, reliable, easy-to-use, moderately priced cpap backup syst...

Re: resmed airmini intro video
It just look so small and LIGHT! I'm wondering if a good toss and turn would just send this thing flying off the nightstand? How can you get around that? Look for something heavy in the hotel room to weight it down?
