Re: Looking for recommendations for travel backup battery
I travel internationally annually. I travel with the Pilot Lite 24 by Medistrom. It’s FAA approved for flight. I travel with it in my carry on and use it to power my clap on the plane on overnight long haul flights. I’ve never once been questioned about it in numerous overseas flights.

Go battery for air Mini?
I’ve been using the Pilot-Lite 24 cpap battery for several years now but… on a recent trip to the UK it went kaput! Would no longer charge, etc. it just died. So I’m searching for battery options and looking at the Go-Battery (and others). The Go is smaller and lighter than others (and a bit cheaper...

Transcend AUTO For Sale
I have a lightly used Transcend AUTO with EZEX for sale. Here are details... I purchased the machine on March 24, 2017, used it for one year for travel only, and then replaced it with an AirMini this past March. The machine is in excellent condition and comes from a non-smoking environment and with ...

Re: Resumed AirMini and Medistrom battery review
I just bought the AirMini as well and like others, the proprietary connections were a huge marketing mistake and completely unnecessary. I already have a Transcend and it comes with a simple plastic adapter that fits the proprietary connector on the machine but allows for the use of a standard CPAP ...

Re: Questions on portability/battery for CPAP
So where can you buy this Medistrom Pilot 24-LITE? A google search turns up references to it from various CPAP suppliers but they only have product info and an opportunity to become a dealer. I've no interest in being a dealer I just want one for when I travel overseas. Amazon has all kinds of Pilot...

Re: 1st Night w/AirMini - a Review
Thanks, I have seen that. As I noted in another earlier post - AirMini Hose Adaptors - My biggest frustration with the AirMini is ResMed's decision to use proprietary hose connectors that block the use of any standard cpap hose/tubing. I've conceived a plan to hack around this - just as the other po...

1st Night w/AirMini - a Review
A few days ago I bought a ResMed AirMini via a “30 day return” offer. For the past several months I’ve used a Transcend for travel and while therapy delivery was fine, I’ve never been happy with the design, size, weight, and especially the fact that it’s software is NOT Mac compatible. I almost retu...

Re: ResMed AirMini tube adapters?
I saw the hack for the masks before I posted, thanks. I think rescue tape could be a fix. Here’s my thoughts... Parts: 1 Resmed Air mini hose 2 hose connectors 1 roll rescue tape 1 short std hose Plan: 1. Cut the ends off the Resmed hose a couple inches deep. 2. Insert hose connector/coupler/splicer...

ResMed AirMini tube adapters?
I decided to bite the bullet and bought the ResMed Airmini as I've been somewhat dissatisfied with my Transcend - not so much the delivery of therapy but it's funky humpback whale design - NO - I don't wear it on my head! Right out of the box today I'm impressed with the Airmini size and more conven...

Re: Travel with Resmed S9?
Nothing to apologize for. I have always questioned the design of the Transcend and guess I never saw or had forgotten those pics - I mean seriously, who designed that?

Re: Travel with Resmed S9?
Yeah, I'm sorry but I'm not going there. I sit mine on the bedside table but need to add some little felt or rubber feet of some kind as it tends to slip and fall off overnight.

Re: Travel with Resmed S9?
Thanks, that's what I thought re: noise cause I've seen many other posts about how quiet the air mini is. My transcend is "noisier" than my ResMed S9 - that is the noise transferred to me that I hear at the mask, but certainly not so that it bothers me. I've seen both Cpap.com and another offering 3...

Re: Travel with Resmed S9?
Thanks All, I'm a veteran UK traveler so I'm well aware of the different plug, need for adaptors, extension cords (excellent point as outlets are not always bedside!) and so on. Yes, most if not all of today's CPAP machines, indeed most electronics in my experience (I travel with computers, cameras,...

Travel with Resmed S9?
I travel frequently thru the year and currently have a Transcend that I bought about a year ago. It works fine but I don't like the humpback design and curved bottom (for the life of me I can't figure that out - it looks as if it was meant to strap around your arm or something?) and it constantly fa...
