It must be relatively new as I see Pugsy is testing one out and there is no Icon at CPAP for it to appear in our signatures (from what I read in her signature)

Some things I do keep for backup, but my hose is really stretched out, and the coupler somehow keeps popping off the elbow during the night and what with sudden whooshes of air and/or sudden loss of therapy air, that happened to one of my hoses a couple of years ago, I stuck it on the coupler, and ...

Re: Sleepyhead, CPAP, APAP, and BIPAP
Would you guys recommend switching to an APAP if the price is reasonable? Are there likely any improvements to be gained? with a pressure as low as yours, and as few incidents as you're having, it likely wouldn't be worth the extra $$. also, when you post a screenshot, it's better if you post the w...

Modems attached for everyone if you want reimbursement for your supplies. My supposedly-"Cadillac" insurance plan doesn't pay for any of my supplies anyway. And they pay only 50% of my machine and humidifier. well, that's what you get for going cadillac! prolly has a faulty ignition switch on your ...

Re: Is this possible?
you need to install resscan, or sleepyhead on your computer, and then download the data from the sd card that's in the back of the machine into your computer...
there's lots of posts on how to do that here, just do a little searching

that's not quite correct, unless you have an ASV, like the vpap adapt or the prs1 bipap autosv.RogerSC wrote:Don't forget that when you see "0 events", that doesn't mean that you had 0 events, it means that there were no events that your CPAP didn't handle.

Re: 0 events
Is it possible to have a night with 0 events or is somethin g wrong with my machine??? I slept 6 hours and machine recorded that you'd have to go into the data and look at the breathing waveform to be sure. it's possible you had some events that were too short for the machine to go 'ah-hah!' and sc...

Neither I nor my DME has found a way to stop the beep. I think they even contacted Respironics about it. We could turn off all the alarms, but not the beep that occurs while turning the machine on or off. If anyone knows how to disable it (without opening up the unit), I'm all ears it doesn't look ...

Re: I need help
hopefully you have a machine that records data (your profile doesn't say)
first step would be to check to make sure that the machine is still keeping your apnea at bay by reviewing the data.

So, last night's data: My AHI went down Allot and I slept for 8 hours, amazing.... Not sure if I just had a good night or what.. I didn't change anything.. I did zoom in to where I woke up, I am not sure if the machine missed a central or if it was just me waking up, it did not flag it so i am not ...

Thank you Robysue. I am calling Mom tonight to have her change her settings. I will plan a trip to her in a week to download her SD card to my computer again. She is not tech savy enough to download to photobucket or be able to post anything, which is why I've been figuring out how to do it to the ...

Re: SD Card
So I inserted the card in the machine's slot, waited and waited for it to do its magic. The Flow Rate data is written directly to the SD card each night. So if you put in a new SD card, any previous Flow Rate data will NOT be written to the new SD card because it is NOT stored in the PR System One'...
