Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

I don't think it's leaking into my eyes but will do another mask fit anyway.
Seems my blood pressure is fluctuating as well. So have made an appointment with my Dr for Friday. S/he can refer me to specialist if necessary.
Thanks both.

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

Greetings, I've now done 6 consecutive nights. I feel absolutely terrible, like I've run full speed into a concrete wall! My vision is particularly poor - having big trouble focusing - had to dig out my old reading glasses which I haven't needed for years. Massive bags & creases under my eyes etc et...

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

Thank you - kind of you to let me know anyway. Good to know I can do that in sleepyhead. I will have a play with it sometime then maybe change the machine clock back, but I think I'll leave that for now. Sleepyhead is very good but seems like it does a lot of stuff and I guess it will take me a whil...

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

I see. Well in terms of successful compliance data, it's from now onwards that really matters, now that we have low AHIs. I don't imagine that theyre all sitting there glued to their Wayne's data computer screens! If they had helped out a bit more I wouldn't have had to do all this on my own anyway....

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

It's ok, I erased the data (you were right, it didn't alter the settings) and it then let me wind everything forward by 12hrs. Phew! Hairy moment there! I don't know what the clinic will make of that - don't know if they remotely read the data off the sd card rather than the machine? It's als...

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

Yes sorry, I should have got more instructions from you. Right, ok. I've taken the SD card out and made a note of settings. So should I set it 12 hours forward (to 14th April 7am) Or 12 hours back (to 13th April 7am)? If I set it back to 13th at 7am, will that confuse the SD card data and/or sleepyh...

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

Ah thank you. Yes, I would prefer it not to break the session. I think I might have b*ggered something up here! 😓 It tried to wind the clock on 12 hrs but it said 'time cannot be set in the past' - so I wound the date on to 14th then tried to alter the time again.....it wouldn't let me! So now it th...

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

I've just had another bad thought - because I have delayed sleep phase syndrome at the moment, my actual sleep time tends to be from about 6.30am to about 2.30pm.

I know this is messed up (and I am working on it) but is this being captured by sleepyhead? It looks as if it cuts off at 1pm.

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

Hi folks, My neck brace arrived - tried it 7/4/18 - AHI according to sleepyhead was 4.2. I have now begun 'hell week' (where I will use the machine every night for at least a week, no matter how unwell I feel). According to sleepyhead, AHI for 12/4/18 was 2.7 and last night 13/4/18 was 2.3. (see scr...

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

That certainly would be nice! :)

Fingers crossed then.

I will report back when I've tried the collar.
Cheers,
Wayne.

Re: Please help! Newbie - big problems adapting to CPAP

Hi again, Hope you've all had a good weekend. A quick question please - im still finding my way round sleepyhead so wanted to check something with you. I tried using a mask liner on 31/3/18 and I think it leaked horribly! My ahi was high for that night (ahi 13). In the screenshots below, do the data...
