Change pressure with new mask?
Is it common to need to change pressure when you change to a different mask? I recently switched from Dreamwear Nasal to Airtouch N20. I am comfortable with the mask, but seem to have more events while using it. I am using my Dreamstation while my Autoset for Her is being repaired for warranty work. I haven't changed the mask type in my Dreamstation. While it feels really comfortable, it doesn't feel like the same amount of pressure.

if so, post some charts of before and after.
if not, don't.
we don't know which events you are having or if changing the pressure would help without first seeing some data.

Re: Change pressure with new mask?
Here are a couple of nights. I know it's not bad, but it's not what I was getting when I was using the other mask. I'm just wondering if a little increase in pressure is normal when changing masks?

If you had any fewer events with the other mask, you must have been in negative numbers.dreamingofdreaming wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 5:50 pmI know it's not bad, but it's not what I was getting when I was using the other mask.

Many nights I was 0. Those snores are waking me up. I didn’t have vibratory snores with my other mask.

bump your minimum to cut down on the snores.dreamingofdreaming wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 6:15 pmMany nights I was 0. Those snores are waking me up. I didn’t have vibratory snores with my other mask.
yeah, tbh, it's not a large difference, but anything that interferes with one's sleep is unwanted.

Was the AHI of 0 with the autoset or the dreamstation? They have different pressure change algorithms.
How long have you been using the N20?

The 0 was with the Autoset, however I didn’t have snoring with either machine with the Dreamwear. My Autoset is still getting repaired. I bumped up my pressure .5 and my DreamMapper app is showing 0.
