"Since 1992, Sweden has, across the board, seen consistent government cutbacks while increasing restrictions on welfare policies, deregulating markets, and privatizing former government monopolies. The country has instituted an overall new incentive structure in society making it more favorable to w...

Re: OT - Amazon refuses to do a telephone order

Re: OT: Google and Labor Day

I started after having been beaten up in and around private business for 17 years! After 6 years of working for a defense contractor, 2 years with a Pyrex factory, a few months with a steel mill machinery manufacturer, 4+ years owning my own small business, 2 years running a one man print shop, 1 y...

Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate

Hello all, I miss having the time to join in the discussions here, but some reading I am doing this afternoon spurred me to drop in. What do you think they will do? Will the individual mandate be struck down? Will they go further? If the mandate alone is struck down what will happen to the act? What...

Where is that old sucka? I miss him. Maybe his wife put the child software on his computer?

What about Archangle? I don't see any posts from him. I'm starting to miss worrying about things killing me.

I have a doctor, a sleep lab and a vender of the cpap stuff. They are not coordinated and all bill my insurance separate...

What I know about cholesterol is minuscule compared to you guys. In simple terms is this article spot on? Two laboratory machines have played a role in perhaps the greatest medical misadventure of our time: the indictment of a villain — LDL cholesterol — with the ultimate crime of the heart, coronar...
