Hi,
I am currently going through the home titration sleep study using ResMed S9 with AirFit P10 mask.
I imported last night's metrics from ResMed 9 to SleepyHead but I'm unable to understand some of the information.
1. Session information: This is my first experience with the machine and to acquaint myself with it, I started using the machine last night at 10 pm (while watching TV), fell asleep at 11:30 pm and woke up at 6:30 am. So, I thought, the session duration would be 10 pm to 6:30 am (i.e., 8hr 30 min). However, SleepyHead shows the session as 8:31 pm to 3:44 am. Does anyone know why there is a discrepancy in session data? Why did session stop at 3:44 am when the machine was working till 6:30 am? Do I need to update any settings to fix it?
2. Last night my AHI is 3.19 (which I assume is good) but there are number of other metrics on SleepyHead. Which ones in the list below are really important and that I should keep an eye on?

Re: Incorrect session data in SleepyHead
I think the clock on your S9 is set not to your local time.
SleepyHead can only report whatever the machine is reporting and the hours of use is about right...just the start and stop times are off.
S9 machines have an internal clock that is accessible to the patient so they can set the clock to their local time.
You have to go into the clinical setup menu to access it though. See the manual for how to get into the clinical menu setup area.

I forget exactly which menu has the clock but I think it's the options menu...see page 16 of the above manual.
Be careful when setting the clock...it will let you go forward easily but not always is it so easy to go backwards.
Don't do like I did and accidentally changed the calendar and create a big mess when it wouldn't go backwards.

Re: Incorrect session data in SleepyHead
Also, remember there is a disclaimer in SleepyHead stating that its data is not to be used for compliance.
Checking for your own edification is OK though.

Re: Incorrect session data in SleepyHead
Thanks for clarifying. Since this a sleep study and have to return the equipment in couple days, I will not modify the settings and just deal with it for now.
