Look for another recent post "Tried out Dreamstation on 12V"
Yes but I'm looking for unique ideas of how people use their trailer's battery and charging system not stand alone batteries.
my husband set up a system with a 12v plug. we run the generator occasionally to charge. Sometimes the coach battery (we have a
motorhome)

I can even run a humidifier on the CPAP with it...

This is slightly off topic but you mentioned you are still in your compliance period.
Make sure the Boon Docks have cellular phone service for your CPAP reporting.
Any idea how often they check us for compliance? I hadn't given it much thought before but now it feels a little creepy, like someone is spying on me when I'm sleeping. Sheesh.
be assured. I've gotten used to the fact they don't even CHECK it most of the time. I called a few times saying how high my AHI was, and they didn't know.

they're too busy to check unless you squack at them lol but YMMV :)

If you have a few dollars to donate to a battery seller, you could always double up with a second similar battery and wire them in parallel. This doubles the power, but keeps the voltage the same. You just need a couple of short cables to connect pos to pos and neg to neg. It would take you a week to run out of power, assuming you weren't running several lights for six hours each night and cycling the furnace eight times each night. Remember, too, that your water pump doesn't work on dilithium crystals.

Nice thing about the boondocks:
No cell service means no "emergency" calls from work.
Sometimes time off NEEDS to be more than an illusion.

That would be my answer, more is usually better, also I'd get used to running the HH in passover mode turned off but with water, you are in mother nature she usually sees to your moistures needs. How did we ever live with a heated hose or HH, answer they aren't required. After 10 years of using my HH, I woke up and saw it wasn't needed....Time after time we buy into hype, so others can make our life harder and suck the money out of our wallets.

As far as Dilithium Crystals, I'm going with my Zero Point Module. The crystals out costly to buy, hard to mine, and tend to crack, they always need to be realigned. Zero Point Energy is the way of the future.

Since you have a un-power friendly Resmed, (24 volt) you will need the costly Resmed inverter, for the life of me I can't see how Resmed can sell non-friendly equipment, but they seem to find enough people that don't care and it seems they all want to camp in the woods. who would guess... Good thing Zero Point Modules have so much extra power (Unlimited) I don't have to but 12 volt d/c stuff, but I still am because it the correct thing to do. K.I,S.S., Rules to live by. Jim

You can check the amperage requirements of your resmed machine by opening the "battery guide" on the above webpage. That'll give you an idea of what kind of battery/charging setup you need.

I am in a 5th wheel with a generator and 2 Trojan T-105 6 volt batteries wired in series. This has been my configuration for 8 years full time and the same set of Trojans. Last night was my first night with my Dreamstation running all night on 12V. I only run the generator in the mornings for coffee and for a couple of hours in the evening for DirecTV.

I checked the voltage with a voltmeter last night when I went to bed and again this morning after 7 hrs on the Dreamstation. The voltage was exactly the same. There was no measurable voltage drop due to the overnight run, but these are large golf cart batteries and are true deep cycle.

Dreamstation is now unplugged and I'm enjoying a cup of coffee.

I am camping at Talladega Geico East campground site 346. Any other CPAP'ers at Talladega? I will be here until Monday morning.
