No longer able to access account

Post by StuckOnRepeat » Fri May 25, 2018 6:42 pm

Anyone else lose their login ability, maybe after a recent upgrade? If so, how was it resolved? Have seen a few posts I'd like to reply to but can't.

If there is a problem logging in on one account that forces you to create a new account to post anything and you wish to use the other older account you need to contact Carolyn and have her help you get it sorted out. Maybe a password reset or something.
We did have a software update to the forum a few months ago but no one reported any issues logging in.

Send Carolyn a PM and explain the situation and your other account name that you had problems with and she is the person who is more likely able to help you get it all sorted out.

This is an account I set up to ask the question and use until I get back into the old account. I did contact cpap.com and was referred to Carolyn. Haven't heard back yet so was thinking instead of bothering her maybe I could get an answer here. I will just wait to hear from her. Thanks.

Carolyn is the only one that can fix it.
It hasn't been a common problem though.
She won't mind fixing it but she may not get to it this weekend and respond until the first of the week.
Sometimes she checks in on the weekends but not always.

I would fix it for you if I could but that sort of stuff is beyond my limited powers.

Why bother Carolyn? When you try to login, there is a function for "I forgot my password". There is also a function for "Resend activation email". Use the appropriate one.

Doesn't always work and the forgot password just sends the old password and sometimes the link to the account and the old password gets broken.
Sometimes it is something that Carolyn does have to do.
