AirSense 10 For Her

Post by MimiLou » Fri Jun 22, 2018 2:51 pm

I tried to search for info here and it plainly stated it cut the search criteria after Airsense 10, but I would like to read experiences and opinions regarding this version. Thanks in advance.

Aside from the 'For Her' mode and the colour, it's exactly the same as the regular Airsense 10.

AFAIK, the 'For Her' mode uses a slightly different algorithm in delivering and managing pressure changes (more gentle I believe).

Outside of that mode, any review of the regular Airsense 10 Auto will be equivalant/relevant.

There is no one on this board whose opinion I respect more than Pugsy's.

Thank you all, I enjoyed reading the responses and the provided link and never would have found it myself. When I expressed an interest the DME provider lead me to believe I couldn’t have it because “they” didn’t carry it because it always came back in such poor shape it couldn’t be made cosmetically able to be resold. I am now thinking from reading a variety of posts that maybe I can request it? I now have the AirSense 10 but I swear it is defective because intermittently I will be wide awake petting my dog and can feel the pulsing air seeking a pressure to open my airway!

When you are awake, your breathing is irregular and your machine may think you are having apneas.

I didn’t know that, thanks. Yesterday I asked for and rec’d a preset pressure (of 14.4) and had a problem free night for the first time since June 6. I also tried the F20 again at the same time and am very pleased with the memory foam seal for my small nose and chin..referred to as a “weak” chin.
