ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset Machine For Sale + EXTRAS

Hi there! I am selling my fathers ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP Machine. He was unable to use the machine due to claustrophobia issues (although he tried). The following are included:

-Travel Bag
-ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset CPAP machine with water tub
-Tubing
-ResMed Mirage FX Mask
-ResMed Mirage Quattro Mask
-ResMed 90w AC Adapter
-NEW ResMed 90w DC Adapter (Out of package)
-NEW Converter with Clips (to run directly from 12v battery)
-2 Headgear
-Manuals

The machine shows a total of 51 run hours. I am asking $600.00 or best offer for everything. Payment through Pay Pal only.

It's a great machine, but you can buy a brand new machine with 2 year warranty at amazon for $689

the Airsense10 CPAP machine is the cheap junk model.

change the title to Airsense 10 AutoSet.

What he said-- Autoset=good; plain CPAP=bad

Easy to edit title--just open your first post, and change the text in the box up top.
Then hit "Submit".
I did it on mine, but that will not help.

Used ones at $380 @ Amazon.

I recently paid about US$600 (CAD$805) for a new airsense 10 autoset for her shipped to me here in Canada from an Canadian online CPAP company. Included slimline tubing and has a 3 year Canadian warranty.

Before you sell it, I notice that the masks are full faced and probably the reason for the feeling of claustrophobia. Rather than have him just give up on treatment, a nasal mask or pillows might be the answer to the problem and your father can treat his SA. The most minimalist mask i can think of is the Dreamwear which comes with either a nasal mask or nasal pillows. The mask is less intrusive than the pillows. If the equipment is being supplied via insurance then talk to them about experimenting with masks.

I had this item listed on eBay and it was removed. At the time of the removal it was up to almost $700.00. I was told this was due to the additional items included and low usage hours. I did have an offer for the converter for $75.00. As mentioned in my post I am willing to take offers. Just threw a number out there based on that and am trying to get what we can.

He did try the nasal pillows as well I just didn't include them in the bundle as they were damaged but thank you for your advice.

Sorry I haven't logged in recently. I have a fear of suffocation AND claustrophia. When I became a mouth-breather and had to move to a full-face mask from my beloved pillow mask, I was terrified I wouldn't make the transition. The people here urged me to try the Hybrid mask by RespCare/Innomed. Bingo, can't see the mask and I use the large pillows for max air flow. If your dad decides try again, show him my mask (click on the link in my profile). I've been using it since summer of 2009.

Is your dad on Medicare? If so he doesn’t own the machine until all13 payments are made, he has no right to sell it. If he can’t use it he should return it to the DME or he will continue to be billed and Medicare will not pay if he doesn’t meet compliance requirements.

And if it has 0.0 usage hours he didn’t try very hard to use it.

No he is not on Medicare. The machine has 51 hours of usage as mentioned in the original post.

There are masks that don't have anything in the field of view, and people with claustrophobia issues have reported much greater success than with the masks that have the forehead supports.
