Re: Issue with Mask Leak

Ordered a padacheek liner the other day so hopefully that will help some. Also wanted to try a different mask so I ordered an F20 since it was on sale. Should be here early next week so I can compare which is more comfortable and which works better for me.

Re: Issue with Mask Leak

I usually hit the mask with a baby wipe two or three times a week. I have had some weight fluctuation due to vacation and the ensuing diet.... I plan on continuing to lose weight as well which I'm sure will impact it. Right now they set me up with a large mask and although I'm a big guy with a big h...

Issue with Mask Leak

I was diagnosed in early June and received my CPAP at the end of June. I've used the machine every night since receiving it and was doing well but in the past week or so I've struggled with mask leak. I did not to a face to face mask fitting, just was told to try the Simplus mask which I thought was...

Re: Therapy appears to be working...

Thanks, I'll give 10min a shot tonight since that seems to be what the average pressure has been so far. With regards to how I feel, as mentioned, I might say I'm less tired during the day but my HR has definitely been impacted positively. Outside of bathroom trips every once in a while, I've been a...

Therapy appears to be working...

Figure I would start a new thread rather than beat the dead horse of the DME issue. I'll use this one to track therapy going forward. In-Home SS completed on 6/7 and 6/8 with an AHI of 82.9 and 91.9 respectively with 12.2% of the recorded time spent under 90% O2 Sat. I'm not 100% convinced of the ac...

Re: Recently Diagnosed - Initial Order Sent to Apria

I'm good with boring! Especially if it takes care of/helps some of my issues (tired, high BP, etc.) Last night I did as most people seem to suggest and put the mask and machine on and watched a bit of TV with my wife. That was just after 9 and I probably rolled over in about 30-45 minutes. I recall ...

Re: Recently Diagnosed - Initial Order Sent to Apria

Well, got everything squared away with equipment and got my first night under my belt last night. I'm a bit surprised with the results, they seem somewhat boring (which I suppose is a good thing). We'll see how I feel as the day goes on.

Re: Recently Diagnosed - Initial Order Sent to Apria

Alright, got everything worked out with a different DME and a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset w/ Climateline hose and F&P Simplus FFM should hopefully be sent out today. I'm supposed to be getting a backup unit(no idea what) from a relative but was contemplating getting a second one for travel. I travel ...

Re: Recently Diagnosed - Initial Order Sent to Apria

When talking to insurance company i did get a list of approved DME. Most are the bigger chains and their local stores like Lincare, Apria, etc. I'm continuing to research and certainly know to get a list of equipment and model numbers. Thankfully my Rx is for an APAP so that limits some of the probl...

Recently Diagnosed - Initial Order Sent to Apria

Hey there, I'm recently diagnosed with severe OSA (AHI of 76 and 86 over the two night home sleep study). I have been reading through this forum since before the sleep study and learned quite a bit. Much to my dismay, shortly after returning the Home Sleep Study equipment, I received an automated ph...
