Re: Dreamwear Full Face or Amara View?
I forgot to add into my previous response, that the Amara view, is suitable for mouth breathers (which I am; I also drool.... a lot) providing you`re able to establish a good seal. I could be wrong in saying this, but I have a feeling the reason behind the Amara View's varied success, has to do with...

Re: Dreamwear Full Face or Amara View?
G'day, I own the Amara View & it drives me nuts! ~I am not sure if I have the correct size however, as I was given a second hand one (& never had access to the relevant mask sizing tool that is used for the Amara View). I seem to constantly have a lot of trouble getting a decent seal, the worst plac...

Re: How do I edit the model of 'ventilator' I'm using on my Oscar profile.
Yep, Oscar detects it from the SD card (I just did my first import about 5 minutes ago). When I look at the daily view however, it is saying I am still using my last machine (a Dreamstation CPAP machine) and it is still showing the pressure settings from the Dreamstation and not my current machine (...

How do I edit the model of 'ventilator' I'm using on my Oscar profile.
G'day all. I am wanting to input my new machine model (a Phillips Respironics BI PAP AVAPS 'System One' Series C) in my Oscar profile, but I have no idea how to do it. I have clicked on 'edit profile' but I can't see any area to put a new machine model anywhere. Do I have to make a new profile, or w...

Re: Oscar showed that I had more than 200 central apneas the other night.
Thank you for the heads up about all those flag thingy's that were turned off (I probably clicked on them & accidentally turned them all off the other day when I was trying to work out what they were for... oops!). The people that are doing my cpap trial have also said they think I have 'complex sle...

Re: Oscar showed that I had more than 200 central apneas the other night.
Hi, in regards to your question; it doesn't take me long to get to sleep (usually the moment my head hits the pillow) -I was asleep probably all but the first minute or so. As for the other; I am only in my mobile now- I have Oscar on my PC only, so later on this afternoon ill have a look at all tha...

Oscar showed that I had more than 200 central apneas the other night.
Am I interpreting this wrong, it looks like a CA is being recorded between individual breathes (for part of the evening, anyway

Re: Do 'open airway apneas' regularly happen to all who've been diagnosed with OSA?
I have finally worked Oscar out, and have managed to transport data from the CPAP machine's SD card (haven't done any screenshot images, to post here yet-: I'm not sure which graphs I should focus on, for the screenshot/ in other words, I have to scroll down the page to see all of the available dail...

Re: Experience with Tramadol?
Here is my experience with tramadol; A gp I was under the care of 18 years ago, put me on Tramadol (it was fairly new back then) for pain, while I was on the waiting list for surgery. The gp specifically told me, that the medication was much safer then a regular opioid, and that there was no potent...

Do 'open airway apneas' regularly happen to all who've been diagnosed with OSA?
I am only new to 'all of this'- I was diagnosed with OSA (they said my AHI was 29) only early April this year (I am a month into my CPAP trial). I downloaded the DreamMapper app (to sync via Bluetooth with the Philips Dreamstation Auto-Cpap machine that I'm currently using for my trial). I know the ...

OMG! That panty liner idea sounds like it would work a treat! I drool so much I am worried about drowning! I'm going to give that a go!
