If you were remotely close to me I could easily repair your cords. Maybe you can find someone nearby that can help if you don't find any other option. It would at least get your machine running even if long enough to get a new part in the mail.

So far I've been tested for that and lots of other stuff and everything is coming up as negative, I guess that's good, but it would be nice to find something and maybe start recovering.

Max is just "max" it allows the machine to go that high if it sees a need. If it doesn't need it it won't go high. Personally my old machine hit 19 all the time and I ended up getting a bilevel machine that could go higher than 20. Since then it runs in the 22 range and I have excellent apnea control.
