The point of contention is whether the APAP can or cannot clear OAs. They can prevent OAs once they manage to increase pressure to the necessary level for the patient.
Yes. I am aware that APAP algo reacts to events other than OAs.
But the point remains that APAPs try to prevent FUTURE events.
They do not try to redress ONGOING events.
