Re: Remstar Auto C-flex needs a new owner

I have an obsolete CPAP machine that I no longer use. It's a Respironics Remstar Auto Cflex machine (formerly know as ""the tank"). I loved that machine, I got many good years of use out of it. I have since replaced it with a Resmed Air Sense 10 Autoset. I would like to donate it or re-cycle it in ...

Re: Help with home sleep study results!!!

Hey Guys, So for the last 2 or 3 years i have been experiencing a gradually increasing level of fatigue and brain fog. Wow... I gave my two cents which is all that was asked. I don't understand the need to be so nasty and judgmental. This was my first time with this forum and now my last. I have better things to do with my time. You people are unnecessarily rude.

Re: Ocular Pressure / eye issues related to cpap mask types?

CONCLUSIONS: Patients with OSA demonstrated significant 24-hour IOP fluctuations, with the highest values at night. CPAP therapy causes an additional IOP increase, especially at night. Regular screening of visual fields and the optic disc is warranted for all patients with OSA, especially those tre...

Re: Sleep Doctor doesn't look at data

There is a big weird disconnect in the sleep apnea world. Sleep docs know a lot about medicine, symptoms, ailments and the theory of treatment but know literally nothing about the mechanics of how xPAP is actually applied to humans. They don't understand machines, hoses, masks, accessories, nor rea...

Re: Sleep Doctor doesn't look at data

From my experience and observation, here's what happens in too many cases. You go to the doctor because you have sleep issues..$$$. The doctor sets you up with a sleep study $$$. Often you are asked to come back for a titration $$$$. You then go back to the doctor to get the results of the study $$...

I did do another study and went from severe to mild about 6 months ago
So, instead of having an apnea every minute, you have one every few minutes.

Best of luck to you.
