New user - 44 days in. Its gone mostly well...
Until last night. I kept waking myself up or startling myself if just zoning out to sleep with air escaping my mouth. I haven't had any issue with that since night 1 or 2. Most of it seemed to be just out of a corner of my mouth, like Popeye. So 42 successful days with a nose pillow mask...then this.
Took a nap this afternoon - same thing.
I don't feel any different...so its not like I'm sick and congested...
Any ideas?
Suddenly having mouth leaks?

Time to tape! I never taped until I got over 63yo... then the loss of muscle tone during REM caused dry mouth syndrome (with nasal mask). That, and increasing my pressure from 10 to 15cm over the last years.FlyAU98 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 7:25 pmNew user - 44 days in. Its gone mostly well...

Here's the best deal on tape:
https://www.amazon.com/Cover-Roll-Stret ... B01F9JFBBY
Make sure you go well past the corners of your mouth... start with 3". Tuck your lips in before taping. Fold a corner to give you a tag for removal. Water aids in removing this tape, just put a handful of water on your mouth and suck in some.
I tape even with full-face mask... helps with jaw drop and drooling. Here's some Jason video on taping:

I finally found a system that worked for me... two vertical strips covering the corners, then one horizontal strip across them. Since I've moved to FF mask I just use a small piece in the middle.
