I will look into the EPR settings once I find out what adequate pressure levels to use that don't trigger aerophagia - I think I need some more data first. I am also looking into trying out a nasal mask, as I primarily breathe through the nose, and since I am not sure if FFM can be worse for aerophagia. Perhaps the nasal cushion or nasal pillow would work better and give better results? Though I don't know which one is more better.

4/4's Oscar report: https://imgur.com/DXcsfAZ - Still experiencing GERD/acid reflux symptoms. I slept on my back since I suspected side-sleeping causes aerophagia, and I experienced not as bad aerophagia symptoms as when I sleep on my side. No super painful bloating or burping, only slight stomach bloat in the morning. However, the tradeoff was it worsened the AHI from under 1 to 1.31.

With your current settings of min 4 max 7 and no EPR, you are spending a lot of the night at 7, largely due to your flow limitations. If you set your min and max to 7 with EPR of 3, your average pressure over the night will be lower, since your exhalations will all be at 4.

But I'm all in favor of gathering more data, so stick with the current settings if you'd like to. If/when you're considering a change, I'd recommend min = max = 7 with EPR of 3. That may give you a bit of relief from aerophagia and help with your FLs. Where it'd leave your AHI in the long run would remain to be seen.

looking for a mask is one of the most difficult choices one can make. it's very personalized. what works for me may not necessarily work for thee.

having said THAT, my personal choice is the P10. link is in my sig below.

good luck!
