We had neighbors who lost a toddler, due to finding his mother's iron supplement.
This was in the early 60's.
Almost anything can be deadly.
Kids are very clever at getting things open.
"Child-safe" containers are little more than a challenge to a bored child.
Lock and key is better; at least until the little bandits learn how to pick locks.
Sometimes constant supervision is the only effective solution.
