Re: standard or soft response
I have been trying to understand about flow limitations, but am just getting more confused. There is some kind of relationship between flow limitations and flagged events that may or may not be events. I'm trying to figure out what's a real event and if I have flow limitations. I thought I could loo...

Re: general question about flow limitations
I'll try.
EDIT: Leaving this thread. I do not like arguments with snarky comments.
I was just hoping for a general answer to the significance of flow limitations, but there doesn't seem to be a simple answer. Going back to my thread about soft response.

Re: general question about flow limitations
If you can, post an OSCAR screen capture showing your breaths in about 3 second spacing (go under events and select 3). And also your summary on the left side showing your FL numbers. Posting images here is problematic due to space so if you can post them elsewhere and link that would be great. Or ...

Re: Mouth Tape?
I tried several tapes. The MedVance Silicon Tape is by far the most comfortable. No irritation when I take it off in the morning. https://cureandcareshop.com/collections/silicone-tape Thanks for this link. I want to try just one roll. The tape I was using was discontinued, and I haven't been thrill...

Re: general question about flow limitations
If I recall correctly, LeftyLanky at one point said Flow Limits didn't matter. That is when I stopped watching his videos because they clearly do matter. In the LL video, I think that is what he is saying. He looks at something else? I didn't quite get it, but then all these graphs just make me con...

general question about flow limitations
I have been watching youtube videos about OSCAR, trying to figure out how it works. I came across 2 videos on flow limitations. They seem to contradict each other or maybe I just don't understand what they are saying. (I suspect the latter.) Could someone explain this to me? Thanks. CPAP Friend http...

Re: standard or soft response
I actually only change one step at a time when I make a change and one thing at a time. I was creeping my low number up toward what the machine was telling me I was reaching every night (10 point something) but that caused a higher AHI. So, perhaps I should creep it back down again and see what happ...

Re: standard or soft response
My numbers were getting worse for some reason. I hadn't changed anything but I was getting AHI in the 4 to 7 range (can't exactly remember, but back into official sleep apnea numbers). EDIT: No, wait, that's not right. I raised my minimum pressure. I watched that Lanky guy in a video talk about how ...

Re: standard or soft response
So should I just go back to soft response? Or is it better to try something for a few days before giving up on it?
