OSCAR missing data?

Post by USER010101 » Fri May 10, 2024 2:47 am

Hi guys, my 1st post here.
So I suffer from obstructive apneas due to my throat collapsing and overbite - but also central apneas where my brain just stops sending signals to initiate breathing.

I obtained Resmed 11 to do more testing.
Interestingly, it only shows central apneas and no obstructive ones...

So I downloaded OSCAR and it gladly recorded data from the previous night.

Today I did a quick nap with different settings (I changed from Auto 4-12 to CPAP pressure 8) and after the nap it did showed updated stats in the machine, but OSCAR does not see the data it only shows the previous day.

Is this something I did wrong? Why the nap doesn't show immediatelly in the SD card data? (last ''record'' was 8am, which is odd as I started the nap 9-10 AM and my night sleep ended around 6am, last file was recorded at 5am and OSCAR shows data up to 5:15AM)

I hope this is not too confusing.

I'd appreciate any help.

Check your machine's time... available in Clinical Menu. Resmed days start and stop at noon, perhaps that's what's getting you. Without a screenshot that's all I've got... SleepHQ is better for sharing nights, just post a Share link... and it's free.

thanks guys
well theres nothing to show at screenshot because the data simply isnt there
last night was recorded, but the record from that midday nap is nowhere to be found... odd!

my hours are ok, Im based in Europe and they match the real time so thats not it.

will consider sleep HQ, albeit I am not in a position to buy monthly subscription as of now :(

The basic account is free. That's all you need.
Freeze this moment a little bit longer.

The SD has to be in the machine for the detailed data to be recorded.
Nap data rarely teaches us much, but you can alway trys to delete the one day, and re-read the SD.

Now I installed sleep HQ and started upload from SD card but its stuck on th 27% mark for half an hour! How long does it usually take?
Its just few days of data, is this normal or something went wrong?

Hopefully you've restarted it by now, six hours later.

I don't normally have upload problems, but then I'm using bog standard Win10 and bog standard Resmed Ax10 machines. It takes less than 10 seconds to upload one night... if it hangs then bail out and retry.

There is an issue with the first upload with large amounts of data... YouTube has videos showing how to split the upload into segments. I don't believe you're having this problem though. Web stuff is just flakey sometimes, the nature of the beast... abort and retry is sometimes necessary. You may find that it completed but you never got the end message.
