Re: OSCAR missing data?
Check your machine's time... available in Clinical Menu. Resmed days start and stop at noon, perhaps that's what's getting you. Without a screenshot that's all I've got... SleepHQ is better for sharing nights, just post a Share link... and it's free.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 tank does not hold enough water! How do I get rid of the smell?
Thank you for the info I will have to see if I can do that some how. Another question, how tight should my mask be? I feel if its too loose air gets out the top and blows into my eyes and then out the bottom when i breathe. So I generally have to tighten a fair amount in order to make sure it stays...

Re: Centrals?
Hold your breath for 15 seconds....that's essentially a 15 second central apnea...the airway is open but no air is moving but that's because you aren't even trying to breathe. But I wasn't holding my breath... believe me, I know how to breathe normally when laying in bed awake on CPAP. I induced CA...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Yes, the gap is when I took off the mask to catch my breath. Not a great feeling for sure. The move to a Resmed 11 APAP from the 10 BiPap is the outcome with yet another sleep study, new Doc and her insistence that I needed an Auto machine and could not justify a Bi-Pap cost because the study showe...

Re: Important Jason/AXG video
The below video argues that the Resmed EPR causes a higher pressure when used. I want the best results at the lowest pressure. Keeping my fingers crossed. https://youtu.be/GaXA0ZIWj1Y I believe Nick says the exact opposite... if you have EPR turned on your effective support pressure is *lessened*.....

I believe they are CA's, whether you were asleep or not. I'll bet your Flex or EPR is on. Turn it down if you can. All my opinion. I know they say 'only if asleep'... I've induced awake CA's in my self using EPR, your carotid bodies don't care if you're asleep or awake.

Re: standard or soft response
IMO wean yourself off EPR, I believe it's causing your CA's at 10cm. Good luck.

Important Jason/AXG video
This is a good one... he's hammer-down on getting doctors involved. We've been left out in the cold by our physicians, techs, and DME's for too long. See what you think.

For experimenting you really should own a recording O2 monitor... I use the O2Ring. Not cheap, worth every penny. It tells the tale of how your therapy is going. I've experimented with MAD... it did lower my APAP pressures about 2cm and did let me go supine at normal pressures. Now that I'm on Hercu...

Re: leaks! mask liners?
Current problem now is after I downloaded the new version of OSCAR I can import the data but the program will not open or do anything at all. Had Nerds On Call work on it today when they tuned up my computer, and they could not find a reason it wont run. We uninstalled it and reinstalled. Nope. Tri...

I have no idea to be honest. At this point we need to recommend that you get the SD card out of your machine and examine/share the data. The best way I've found to share it is SleepHQ... it is a free website that enables you to a) view your data in hi-res and b) to share it in hi-res. The best way ...

Looks like your pressure is being driven by Snore. Snores are not flagged as events. This does not mean you're perfectly treated, just that your particular mode is not flagged. You could probably up your min pressure 1cm or lose 1cm of EPR.

Re: Precise Meaning of MIN and MED
MED is short for Median:
To find the median: Arrange the data points from smallest to largest. If the number of data points is odd, the median is the middle data point in the list. If the number of data points is even, the median is the average of the two middle data points in the list.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 tank does not hold enough water! How do I get rid of the smell?
Giant leaks blow the water away. Tubs that have been boiled dry need a vinegar soak, a good toothbrush scrub, and a good rinse. Remember that smell... it should wake you immediately... it does me. The machine that keeps your tub filled is called CSpring and costs about 260$. It is better to fix your...
