Re: Distiller for water?

Reverse osmosis does not remove calcium, but I am sure it makes tasty drinking water. I need to keep the crud out of my cpap tank. Only distilled water can do that. My old Kenmore tabletop distiller is "still" chugging away. When it dies, the bullfrog can rig a DIY solution, like his dad did in cap...

Re: Distiller for water?

I have one of those under sink reverse osmosis filtration systems for drinking water you can get off Amazon. Makes purified water for the water cooler, same stuff you can buy in the front of your local Lowe's. I installed a bypass in front of the last filter, a "re-mineralization filter" that adds t...

Re: ANY OPTIONS OTHER THAN FULL MASK OR CHIN STRAP FOR OPEN MOUTH

Speaking of cervical collars, I found a newer one that supports my chin much better than the others I've used/tried. This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3RZSV5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 Has a soft foam against the skin, a harder support foam in the core that doesn't...

Re: Bleep ports to sell

Doesn't irritate my nose at all, really feels just like the P10 did to me, maybe just a tad tighter, but that's OK. To be honest, I can't visualize a way for the P30i to irritate the bridge of a nose, since it is pillows resting against the nostrils.

Bleep ports to sell

I've pretty much settled on the P30i as my mask now over all others, and have 3 unopened boxes of ports that I'll sell for the online "add-on" price of $88 (ie - what I paid for them) shipped to your door. "Add-on" just means that when I bought ports, first box was $36, and adding the 3 more was an ...

Re: Bleepers - set for Nasal or Nasal Pillows?

Pillows is what a resmed rep told me. Said it was based on dead space. That makes a lot of sense. I'd always thought there was an assumed value of vent flow that might play into it from mask type to mask type, but when you consider how the machine distinguishes between centrals and obstructives by ...

That's fine, just relaying how I reported it and to whom. I really don't miss it, most of the time looking at the forum I'm on a laptop or tablet.

Re: Tapatalk

When they changed software some number of months ago, the Tapatalk extensions didn't work. They were alerted, acknowledged it, but I don't think they explored it any further. I used Tapatalk to read the forum sometimes, but really don't miss it, especially with the privacy concerns associated with ...

Re: New & can't find my issue.

Hi, I am about a month into using a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset and a ResMed Airfit F 30 mask. I am using the CPAP to show the FAA that the CPAP is helping with my mild sleep apnea. My Dr. ran the at home test. So far the recording is showing I am getting a 99 or 100 score on about 8 hours sleep eve...

What would be comparable to a Dreamwear Gel Pillow Medium?
I used the Dreamwear medium and use the P30/P10 large. Really didn't like the Dreamwear venting, did like the top hose.

Are the pillow sizes and design 1:1 to the P10?

I find the medium size P10 just a bit too small and leaves me with a feeling of air starvation while the large size remedies the air starvation but is a touch to big and sometimes leads to leaks.
They look 1:1 to me, I use the large in both.

Re: Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask Review

I think the DreamWear FFM is a great design except for one problem. When I first got the mask, I slept three nights with it, and there were no leaks and very low AHI. It's so easy to adjust, and I like the hose attachment on the top of the head. I still use the mask for an occasional one-hour nap, ...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread

I think they'll figure all that out, I know I'm telling mine it's a sure thing if they'll adopt and push it. Every other mask they sell can last longer than the 2 weeks (pillows) or 4 weeks (FFM) that is the norm for insurance coverage. This one can't, and they can sell (and profit) from it. While I...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread

The Bleep is now my every day mask, at least until my plunge into 4 boxes of ports on my own dime is over with. I'm thinking the DME suppliers will latch onto this, since with the disposable ports it insures an income stream, unlike other masks/pillows that users learn they can extend the life on.
