Just bought my Airsense 10 and noticed that the autostart feature doesnt shut down the machine when the mask is removed when the Climateairline is used.
It turns on automatically, but only shuts off if the standard tube is used.
Is this the expected behaviour?
Thanks

Re: Autostart not shutting off with Climatelineair
I believe that there's an auto-start and an auto-off, do you have them both enabled?

Re: Autostart not shutting off with Climatelineair
This is not how AutoStop works, in fact, any leaking would make it more likely that AutoStop shuts down the machine.LillianFelly wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 4:39 amThere are a couple of possibilities:
Leak Sensor: The Climateairline might be causing a small leak that the machine misinterprets as breathing, preventing auto-off.
Settings: Some settings might need adjustment for optimal autostart functionality with the Climateairline.
Autostop doesn't detect breathing it shuts down the machine when it detects excessive leaking, and attributes that to nobody being attached to the mask.
Not on the AS10.
On the AS11 SmartStart and SmartStop are two separate configuration items. On the AS10 they are ether both on or both off.
No, and it's not tied to the climateline hose.
Sometimes SmartStop isn't reliable because their is too much resistance because of the mask. Enough for the leak threshold not to be sufficiently high enough to interpret as no longer being attached to the person. Small nasal pillows and low pressure contribute to this.
