Re: Is OSCAR hungry??
OSCAR doesn’t write to or delete anything from the SD card/ usb stick. It copies the data to your PC and reports using that copied data. While it is possible you deleted the information from your PC, the data will still be on the usb stick.

Re: New machine [Resmed Airsense 10 For Her]; much better readings but SD card won't record data
The summary data is stored on the machine and may be sent via cellular connection to your DME or doctor. The detailed data is stored only on the SD card, which you would then remove from the machine, insert into a card reader on your PC, and access using the free OSCAR program you can download. What...

Re: I Can NOT Find My Machine: or Mask: Listed! Just Humidifier: HumidAire 2i Heated Humidifier! Under [ Edit Profile],
The Swift mask is under S for Swift. Is that machine an Autosense? If so, it would be under A. Not always logical, but most current equipment is on that list somewhere.

Re: F20 Headgear
I have personally used multiple cushion sizes while trying to find the best fit - they all fit the same frame and headgear.

Re: Best CPAP/APAP bundle for $600?
Regarding used machines - another way to view the issue - whenever you go for an in-lab study, you are using a “used” machine. The clinicians’ manual includes instructions on how to disinfect the machine between uses.

Re: F20 Headgear
There are three parts to the F20 - headgear, frame and cushion. The cushion attaches to the frame, which attaches to the headgear. All three sizes of cushion (and I believe the for her size as well) fit the one frame size, which in turn fits all headgear sizes. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resme...

Re: ResMed ASV device - 2nd month, not working compared to first few weeks
As far as which mode I am in, I am pretty sure I am in ASV mode, but if there is an easy way to check on the screen, let me know and I can confirm for sure. Thanks for any help you can give with reading the reports and pointing out any potential issues. On the left side of the OSCAR screen, under t...

Re: New AirFit F20 and some issues
I can confirm that the F20 "unisex" and F20 "For Her" headgear both fit all the F20 masks - AirFit (silicone seal) & AirTouch (memory foam seal). I have all of it (trial and error 30-day return policy) and everything is interchangeable. Thanks! The problem is that I need a small (for her) headband ...

Re: New AirFit F20 and some issues
I don’t think I need a smaller mask and large is definitely too big according to the size chart. DON'T trust the sizing tool, trust your face (and how things feel). Easy enough to buy a single larger cushion and try it, and rest of the headgear is the same. “Easy enough” at $150 a pop sure. Are you...

Re: Where can I buy a mask without a prescription?
can someone explain to me why we need a prescription to buy a cpap mask?? The FDA has classified both the machines and the complete mask assembly as class II medical devices, based on potential health risks if used improperly. However, the components of each are not regulated, so you can buy the pa...

Look on the front of the machine, near the humidifier, it should show which model you have, like Autoset or Elite.

Re: I got my backup machine...
The idea comes from my experiences with computer back up plans - they often did not work as expected due to changes in operating systems, dead batteries, phone outages, lack of adequate back up space, equipment failure - well, you get the idea. I would hate to be counting on the back up xPAP only to...
