Re: FS: Wellue o2 used 2 weeks
I just got one of these thinking my o2 levels were lowering during the night, but after checking for a few days, it isn't I don't have any use for this anymore, so if someone ins interested, I'll sell it for $80.00, plus whatever USPS shipping is. I would assume 10 bucks or less. I have everything ...

Re: Mouth Tape?
I tried several tapes. The MedVance Silicon Tape is by far the most comfortable. No irritation when I take it off in the morning. https://cureandcareshop.com/collections/silicone-tape I bought a roll from Amazon and tried it. It comes off, doesn't stick to my mouth. CRST is the stuff. Good and chea...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 "Smart Start" Doesn't Shut Down
So I assume something is wrong with this small tube, even though it's new (3 weeks of use) and doesnt seem to have any damage. The machine has a leak threshold which sets when it thinks you've taken off the mask. The small tube allows enough back pressure so that the machine does not feel you've ta...

Re: transcend micro
All CPAP units run the motor up and down... they have to to keep a constant pressure when you're inhaling and exhaling. The best units do it so quietly you can't hear it. Travel units are not the best units.

Re: Mouth Puffing
I know pillows users love their pillows... but this problem responds best to a full-face mask I've found. The more of your cheeks you can cover the less they will puff, since the pressure outside equals the pressure inside for whatever the mask covers. I recently tried the Somnoseal mouth condom, wi...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Just a FYI. Troubling shooting the odd data that SleepHQ reported, I downloaded the SD card to the SleepHQ site from my PC instead of from my iPhone and the anomalies went away. But also just now seeing that there is no flow limit data from the Resmed 10S. The Resmed 11 did report that data. Does a...

I think it's because you're swole up... fatter tongue equals more AHI. At the level you're complaining about it means not much... I've proven I can fart and pop an event.

Re: Anyone else experiencing connection problems here on the forum
We had this problem with my company's sales/support website... the hosting company told us 'you just need to buy more bandwidth'. I told them I wanted a complete report on site traffic for the last month, our customers were not able to access our site to buy or download. Upshot was they found some o...

https://imgur.com/a/5D2BXHV Not sure why but the original image on the post gives me a 404 error so I am posting the link again. I'd try a night of straight 8cm CPAP EPR 2 and see how it goes... it looks like the FL's piss off the pressure, which brings on the CA's. Also SleepHQ is better for shari...

It *does* look better! I'd keep working it up as you can... I expect the CA's to disappear, we'll see.Airyhead wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 1:46 pmSorry vandownbytheriver, somehow I copied the wrong link. Here's this mornings data. https://sleephq.com/public/368e5ff6-a70 ... f41affaa31

Re: Mouth Tape?
I just got the SomnoSeal fit pack... which contains two sizes. I'm going to try the Small size, the other is Medium and the Small seems to work for me. It is a silicone piece that goes between teeth and lips... should only take a small piece of tape (included) to fix the lips in place. I'm hoping th...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Well, interesting night. I increased both IPAP and EPAP by 1cm and decreased humidity to level 6. Rain-out was mostly resolved but minor leaks were bothersome all night. Gross parameters didn't change much, but waveform tops looked smooth and exhalation support looked better. Most remarkable to me ...

Re: Unable to fall asleep with CPAP
The tech is at a loss now too we tried EPR off with slightly lower overall pressure. He wants to try "constant pressure" (no ramp up) next to see if that might not be it, followed by a prescription of sleeping pills. I'm starting to get skeptical. I was just thinking it might be Auto Ramp that gets...

Re: Past Pest back to bother you again
Thank you Sir- I have been busier than my foggy brain can cope with. Got my 60th class reunion end of week and as I have/had a signshop I was asked to do the signage. Have not done this stuff for 5 years and between rusty and foggy and stressed out, it is going as expected... Unfortunately you must...

Re: OSCAR missing data?
Now I installed sleep HQ and started upload from SD card but its stuck on th 27% mark for half an hour! How long does it usually take? Its just few days of data, is this normal or something went wrong? Hopefully you've restarted it by now, six hours later. I don't normally have upload problems, but...
