Re: Need Help selecting new travel cpap and battery
The ones I was looking at are the Z2 Auto Travel and the Transcend Micro. Are there any others I should consider at this price point? Do these models have any issues with reliability and excess noise?

Need Help selecting new travel cpap and battery
I've been using a cpap successfully for about 10 years. Last year, I was able to get a new one through insurance. The old one gives off error messages due to excess hours used, but it still works for the most part, such that I've taken it on international trips (without the humidifier) and on backpa...

Re: Help me pick a new (lighter) machine
All else being equal, I'd take a a machine + DC converter that weighs less than 600 grams (and no humidifier/heat) over one that weighs 2200 grams and includes heat and humidifier. I've been doing without for about 4 months. However, if the insurance won't pay for a travel machine, then that would i...

Help me pick a new (lighter) machine
I've been using a Resmed S9 with humidifier for 5 years. It works fairly well for me. At home, I used it with the heated hose and humidifier. After the initial adjustment period, this has helped my sleep improve significantly. I recently broke the humidity chamber and can only use it without the hum...

Re: Can I Splice Resmed DC converter to Qi output cord?
Battery showed 7% left after using it last night for the third night, so a little over 18 hours on one charge.

Re: Can I Splice Resmed DC converter to Qi output cord?
What is it with all these people wanting to "reinvent" things??? It's been going on for years and another batch of them here lately. I would think that all the manufacturers (and their highly-paid techs) would have come up with improvements on their own. Den . Sorry if I offended you by snipping a ...

Re: Can I Splice Resmed DC converter to Qi output cord?
After two nights and 12.3 hours of use, my Qi battery was showing 35% this morning. I'll try it again tonight to see if I can get a third night from it.

Re: Can I Splice Resmed DC converter to Qi output cord?
I used it for about six hours last night. The battery had 74% left when I woke up. I was thinking I'd have to recharge the battery daily, so this is awesome if I can get three nights from one full charge.

Re: Can I Splice Resmed DC converter to Qi output cord?
I was a dumb to have snipped the cig lighter. I spliced that back in place. I also snipped the the alligator clips and spliced that to the DC out cable from my QI. I ran a five minute test today and it worked--no climateline and no humidifier. I will try it out tonight and see how much battery it us...

Re: Can I Splice Resmed DC converter to Qi output cord?
It seemed like a good idea to my fatigue-addled brain.
It is kind of a long story. Do you really want to hear the whole thing?

Re: Backpacking, Hiking and Camping - the PowerAdd Pilot Pro
I purchased this converter https://www.cpap.com/productpage/DC-Con ... hines.html, but I don't see how it would work with my Qi Infinity. Did I get the wrong converter? Help! I'm confused.

Re: Backpacking, Hiking and Camping - the PowerAdd Pilot Pro
Hey there. I'm signed up for RAGBRAI in late July and was planning to sleep in my tent with my cpap. There is just so much info in this thread and others that I can't possibly wade through it all. Could someone please verify this for me. I want to carry the least amount of weight possible. I normall...
