I just found the forum. Going to bed with my newly rented CPAP for the first time in 5 minutes. I'm hoping for great and wonderful things, but will settle for just about any improvement at this point. Wish me luck.

Welcome "Tired"
Good luck on cpap. I hope you don't settle for less results than you would like. Keep at it and make some adjustments and you'll find that your results will improve. You may be lucky like me and have things go very well right from the start.
Keep us informed about your progress. If you have any further comments or questions, post them on the cpap and sleep apnea forum. You'll find that at the lower right of the window in the jump to: Select a forum. More people monitor that forum than the into forum.
Good to see you. Where's Red Stick?

First nite Last Friday
Things are improving. I have been able to increase the total time under the mask each nite since I started last week. The third night was the worst, I had to pull it off after 3 hours. I was able to go 6 last night! I have felt better during the day since starting CPAP then I've felt in years. Its amazing what a few hours of quality sleep can do for you.
Well I'm off to research masks. I think if I alternate between a couple, or three, styles I can avoid the irritation I'm beginning to experience where the mask contacts my face.
PS to "Wading": Red Stick is more commonly know as Baton Rouge
