Re: Liberty Full Face with Nasal Pillows (Hybrid)

I've used the Liberty Full Face Mask for a year and a half and love it. I don't use any kind of strap, tape... or anything. As far as leaking.. I have to play with the nasal pillows a bit when I first start the machine but then... they are great. I've noticed that I do have to weekly clean with vine...

cpap filters

When I went the DME to get a new mask and hoses, they gave me disposable filters. I always used a foam filter and just washed it out weekly. When I questioned the disposable ones, the DME told me I was supposed to be using both, the disposable one and then the foam on top. Does anyone out there use ...

I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I had a hysterectomy at age 38 and nothing has been the same since. I am an educator, married with 3 kids. I never had difficulty before. I am now on an anti depressant, thyroid, hormone, cholestoral medication and cpap. I'm not tiny but not huge either....

When I did my sleep study I couldn't handle the air blowing straight up my nose but did better with a nasal mask. I had to tape my mouth and try to keep the air out of my eyes. Last visit to the DME, I got a Liberty mask that I just love. Nothing is up by my eyes and no more taping. The air does go ...

I can really relate. I have no problem sleeping with cpap except when the seal of my mask leaks. At this time I only have one mask I like and think that might be the problem. It seems like when I used to switch off masks every other night, the plastic would be a little stiffer and not leak. I would ...

I do want to warn you... with my old mask I would have to tape my mouth. My friends or roomies would wait until I was all taped ready to sleep and then make me laugh or tease me so I couldn't talk back. We all had a good time!!

I have no problem with people knowing I use a cpap machine but I was concerned when I went to conferences and shared a room. What I found out was that the natural noise of a hotel room (air conditioning or heat) are louder than the machine. I also was told by friends that I was silent. They couldn't...

I don't know if you would get better results with a chin strap but I LOVE my liberty. I had always used a nose mask and had to tape my mouth. I hated it. My liberty is quieter, doesn't blow air in my eyes and NO taping. I side sleep and have no problems. My pressure is 14.

I have been on Synthroid for 5 years now. I don't think thyroid has anything to do with OSA either. I do however think my weight does. I haven't done anything to try to lose weight but know I need to.

Ok.. not that you want more on the laundry subject... but.. I am a major believer in BIZ. My husband and children are into sports and their socks are sooooo disgusting after games. I soak all my whites, t shirts (even with sayings on them), socks, and undies in hot water and 1 scoop BIz. I leave the...

This is interesting.. I have had air in my eyes and thought it was from the mask leaking. I always check and can't find a leak. I bet you are right it is from the pressure. I just use artificial tears in the am and before bed, but I wonder if a sleep mask would be enough. But then again if the press...

My family thinks the machine sounds like Darth Vader. My husband doesn't like the noise but he didn't like the snoring noise either... Go figure. I like the cool air from the mask exhaust ports for summer and the humming helps me sleep.
