How is AHI determined on Encore Pro, formula?

Hi Ed.

Simple explanation: It's Apneas + Hypopneas divided by the amount of time.
It's a per hour rate.

I would imagine it's all calculated out in minutes and then re-calculated back into an hourly percentage number.

Den, I don't think the calculation is affected by number of minutes. It seems to be a function of only number of events and elapsed time.

Well, what I meant was that if you slept "X" hours and "xx" minutes, the program would use "X" X 60 and then + "xx" for a total number of minutes to make the calculations. Or, it keeps track of the total number of minutes and then divides by 60 for a number of hours and then the left-over minutes.

I don't particularly know how their program does it, but the total time slept is shown in hours and minutes in the Encore Pro report.
