If it makes you feel any better I got shafted on a rent to own deal of my BiPap I wound up paying some money up front then $71.00 a month payments for what seemed like forever till it was mine Kind of like buying a car from a shady dealer.

Not sure what your going problem is, I have heard Prostate problems can cause that, I myself was waking up 10 or 15 times a night before being diagnosed with OSA but after starting CPAP treatment I could sleep all night without getting up and going.

Yes, you must first have a prescription to obtain a CPAP machine - but after you OWN one, you are within your rights to do whatever you darn well please with it, including using it as a leaf blower, running it over with the family car, or... Unless they have changed the rules I have purchased new masks on cpap.com with out being asked for a prescription but its been a couple of years since I last bought a mask.
