Disagree very strongly....there is no point spending months (years?) denying intimacy to yourself and your partner while you try to sort out an elusive cause. Once he settles well into cpap and gets the mouth breathing under control he can always try to do without and see what happens.

Seriously...there is a little blue pill that works wonders... He should not be afraid to ask his doctor about it.

I am such a bad caffeine addict I get physically ill if I don't have my fix. I have weaned myself several times in preparation for surgery on my knee. Do it gradually. By some good quality decaf. Do a few days at 3/4 strength, a few days at half, a few days at 1/4 and then you hsould be able to go c...

Stick with it guys. My first month I probably averaged 2-3 hours a night. Gradually that turned to 4 and then 5. I went through a long period where I felt very much worse than before cpap. I have been doing this for a year now and I sleep 8 hours almost every night and feel great! Don't despair! You...

At some points in the video the filmers are only a few yards behind her as she almost weaves into other cars. No way could they stop if an accident happened. The filmers seem to have been angling for a Darwin nomination themselves.

I have used 5 pillow type masks. The Swift was by far the loudest. I have also used the Aura...also too loud for me (but comfortable). Bravo is very quiet but I could never ever get it to seal even after hours of playing with it. CL2 and Optilife are a tossup for me. The exhaust on the CL2 is virtua...

I used the CL2 for a long time and loved it. It took about 2 weeks to get over the sore nares. Ayr gel helped alot. I also used a beeswax based lip balm around the edges of my nostrils. Came in a little yellow tin from Walmart. Nice pepermint smell too.

Flying Norseman...it is your method that works. Its Jasper's shortcut formula that doesn't work. I should have said this in my original post.

I have just put this into an Excel spreadsheet ... wonder how I can make it available?

Jasper, That formula won't work to predict your nightly numbers anywhere near accurately (I tried it on my daily numbers and some data sets I created). The problem is that the formula doesn't take into account the variability among the numbers that make up the two 7 day averages you are using to co...

Has it been a year already?

Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I posted anything. Things have been going so well that I have kind of drifted away. Anyway, I am posting today because it is my One-Year Aniversary on CPAP (woohoo!...you will have to imagine the balloons and cake). I want to thank everyone on here who helped me...
