Problems with Remstar Auto with C Flex

Post by Guest » Wed May 02, 2007 1:29 am

Hi all
I have a Remstar Auto with C Flex which is only 7 months old. I use at home plus taking it camping with me. I have dual battery set up in the vehicle with 100A/hr battery. I have taken the CPAP with me on many camping trips, but has failed twice while camping. Both times it failed in the same manner, it has been working all night with no problems. I get up in the morning & depress the on/off button to switch it off. Then an audible alarm starts displaying error 87. Unable to use the Remstar in either 240Vac or 12V due to this error. The main board was stuffed & was replaced. Two months later it does it again with the same error code. Has anybody got any ideas ?

Of course you know that you can't run the apap when the vehicle engine is running since the voltage goes too high from the alternator.

Yes I know that. The vehicle is not running while the Remstar is plugged in. Do others use their Remstar Auto with C Flex on the car battery ?
