Re: Insurance
You are not giving much information . How long have you been on CPAP? Have you had any problems during that time? I personally went over 10 years without seeing a sleep doctor. Whenever I needed a prescription, my PCP providede it. My numbers remained steady for those 10 years and if a slight adjust...

Re: Replacement for AirCurve 10 VAuto?
Get another AirCurve 10 while they are still available. Look at what good service you got under your current machine. There is no way to know when an 11 version will come out and you don't know the reliability.

Same Question...Why?
If you disable the modem and it was purchased through insurance, there may be a problem. Most likely voided the warranty too.

Re: OT:::::Medicare Advantage plans "are taking over Medicare and they are taking advantage of elderly patients,"
The Advantage Plans vary by zip code. We have had ours for over 10 years and love it. My wife just ordered new glasses....Retail was $179 for frame and $85 for the lens...Our cost..$0. Most of our Meds are $0 cost.

Re: Dream Station 2 Heater won't work
With the machine running and the humidifier at 4-5...Touch the heating plate under the water tub. If its warm or hot, the humidifier is working. Be careful..sometimes its very hot.

Re: Switching from APAP to CPAP
Why not just make the switch and see how you feel. It's really no big deal. If you know your average pressure on APAP, use that as your fixed pressure on CPAP setting. Personally, I would always take APAP with a pressure range. Some people dislike the feeling of pressure changes and prefer a fixed p...

Re: Using other filter media
Since the air coming out of your CPAP is coming from the room where the machine is located, I would be concerned about any odors in the room.

Re: Made A Cleaning Mistake
Whatever is in the water tub NEVER enters the machine. The machine blows it into the hose and mask. If cleaning doesn't get rid of the alcohol smell, buy a new water tub and possibly a hose.
