I have found that a soft fabric mask liner, like Pad a Cheek, is more effective
and more comfortable.
Paper does nothing for me.

Re: Weight loss drug trial claiming to reduce Sleep Apnea. Hmmm?
. . . In people who did use PAP machines, Zepbound led to an average reduction of 30.4 events per hour, compared to an average reduction of 6 events per hour for the placebo group." . . . This statement better serves as evidence that cpap settings are customarily WRONG. Many of us have no need for ...

You have done the best you could.
Maybe you have actually made a dent in her mush.
If not, there is nothing anyone could have done.

Re: S11 vs S10
Sleeplay has the 10 Elite (non-APAP) on sale for 299USD! Coupon BESTPRICE. Supposedly it has the 4G modem in it. Could not pass this up, on the way... now I own three 10's. I'll report back what firmware it can run. I had an Elite. I was miserable until I scored my first Autoset. Both were S9s. Do ...

Re: Living abroad part-time
Your given timetable may be unreasonable. If so, I recommend you purchase a gently used version of the machine you intend to get. Secondwindcpap.com is mentioned in this forum often. That way, when you are local again, your now backup machine (everyone should have one) will not count against Medicar...

I do make yearly appointments with my doctor, but have only seen secondary providers
in his office for the last 10+ years.
I tell them what I am doing, and they note it on my chart.
It keeps Medicare happy (or not ) and my DME sells me only what I really need.

Did you dry it out before trying to use it again?
If it still works, you dodged a bullet, although a noisy one.

No haiku attempt here.
Coincidence only.
It must be a cultural thing.
Too Irish to feel poetry when nothing rhymes.

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
IMO, the intent of philips' exchange process was to trap patients
into years longer of dealing with their inferior machines.
The decent thing would have been to recall their damn junk, and giving out cash refunds!
The whole stinking nightmare is appalling!
