Though my centrals were completely gone, i still wasn't getting the best quality sleep. Much much better, but still n...

Congratulations! I remember I think you were about to toss the whole thing down the toilet. I'm glad you made it this far, in fact, thanks to CPAP therapy machine you are still around to talk about it. Keep pushing and never give it up.

Re: The end of methadone and the end of apnea...
. But there was one major problem: I wasn't feeling better with the ASV, regardless of my AHI. Even with the addition of O2 in December, I still would not feel better. Could it be that the methadone is not only causing hypoventilation, but is also screwing around with the exchange of gases (O2 to C...

Great article Julie. I have no doubt that methadone for my back pain was the sole cause of my CSA. More people need to see this.

Re: Colorado & CPAP
Depending on the elevation and climate you were originally titrated at you may find a difference because of the thinner and dryer air and you may require more pressure. I don't know if you will need a whole new titration, but if it were me I'd be adjusting my settings by increasing the pressure by ....

Hi Cowboy, try Roth Medical, they're in Lafayette and do a decent job. 303.665.7009. I agree with your sentiments, Colorado is a great state to live in. I love it because In just a 30 minute drive you're out of the metro area and in the mountains. For anyone that loves to be outdoors, Colorado is th...

Re: Tired with feeling tired
No worries, its difficult because once you know you have the problem and what the solution will be, you still have to wait for the fix because it's not like a doctor giving you a written script or samples of a med that you can take home that day. On the upside, from my perspective 5 weeks is pretty ...

Re: The end of methadone and the end of apnea...
So, here I am now, a completely different person than I have been over the prior few years. I know I may be repetitive here, but I had no clue how badly methadone was on my respiratory system. Just over 2 to 3 months ago, I was sleeping 8 to 9 hours per night with higher pressures and an O2 suppleme...
