Re: Did anyone have numbness prior to OSA treatment? PS I'm New
I've been seeing a neurologist since it started. i have had two MRIs and a CT, and I've had nerve testing, all came back negative. When it first started I was sent to the ER to rule out stroke. He can't figure out what is causing it, says it's probably "just me". I don't take any medications. I cou...

Re: Migraines in the Morning
So I'm going to ask a probably stupid question, but... Do you use the fine white filter in the air intake of the machine? My nasal passages used to swell like that, but when I put in the fine filter, it went away. you could even cut a HEPA filter and fit it to the intake possibly. Sumatriptan is no ...

Re: First night on CPAP Nasal Pillows - failed -help please.
I'll chime in in saying that the vast majority of people have had very good results with the P10, but there are a few of us that it doesn't work for. If you're still struggling after trying some of the above suggestions, a different mask might do the trick. I went from being able to last about 2 hou...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
How do I start? Chronologically, I guess. I suffered from some pretty nasty migraines in my late teens and early twenties, but they mostly went away for several years. I'd have the occasional migraine, and while it would suck, it was definitely manageable. All of my migraines have been with an aura....

Re: About to get my first, do I need it every night?
I was in a similar position. I never felt like I slept poorly, and my snoring wasn't particularly bad. I had a sleep study at the request of my neurologist while trying to figure out why I was having weird, debilitating migraines (slurred speech, paralysis, hospitalization... good stuff). I got diag...

Re: Any Reviews of New ResMed AirFit F10
With the Airfit P10 nasal pillow mask, I find that I wake up through the night starving for air. The vent is so subtle and slight, I wonder if I am rebreathing the same air. Has anyone else had the same experience? This might be more appropriate for a new thread (if it is, I apologize to the modera...

Re: New User with a Mask Venting Question
A quick update for record in case someone searches this... I'm not 100% sure if it was the condensation, or a bad headgear fit causing the pillows to collapse, but switching to the Swift FX got rid of every problem I was having. It's possible the non adjustable headgear was too small for my noggin. ...

Re: New User with a Mask Venting Question
Quick update: So after fiddling with the mask while awake and trying to see if the pillows would reinflate, I decided to put my hard earned engineering experience to use... yup that's right, I threw money at the problem and hoped it would go away. I pulled the trigger on the heated tube conversion k...

Re: New User with a Mask Venting Question
Next time it happens try to get a sense of air movement through the pillows before you do anything. Just to see if the pillow hasn't sort of created the vacuum I was talking about. Just a couple of inhales to get a feel for air movement in the nose..then pull the mask away for a couple of seconds a...

Re: New User with a Mask Venting Question
I wonder if condensation is clogging up the mesh. I hope not, as I just ordered this mask. OP could try blowing through the vent to clear it. This is what I'm suspicious of. One time it happened, I got up out of bed and hung up the mask and hose for about 15 minutes, it then worked fine. Blowing th...

New User with a Mask Venting Question
Mornin Everybody! I've been using my apap and P10 mask for a bit over a week, and I'm realizing a slight issue. So far this has happened three times, and the most recent one was weird enough that I decided it might not just be me. Most of the time, the mask feels great, and I get to sleep with no pr...
