Re: Now CPAPUSA has botched its web site
Good service from both CSC and CPAPOutlet.ca.
One of them is a pita as you have to have an account to see price.
Stock of both is more limited than from US, so I had to buy some things from a US supplier.
(CPAPUSA pulled his butt out of the fire, miraculously, web site ordering now works.)

Re: Another ResMed APAP brick just released
"chunkyfrog" is xenophobic. Apex is made in Taiwan. Ford's most reliable car is made in Mexico. OTOH a Chrysler PS bracket made in Mexico was a dangerous POJ. Even US manufacturers botch, for example the troubled throttle position sensor on Toyota cars was made in the US, ones made in Japan were fin...

Re: RemSTAR Auto M series with A flex problems
Clarifying - the risk of sensing tube break is mostly due someone having worked on the machine, overstressing the joint which falls open later.

Re: What is large leak threshold for various cpap's?
Well, For leaks in tubing you can feel with hand. More couplings = more leaks. Hose does deteriorate, the plastic between wire coils breaks. There shouldn't be any leak from the interface, though that is difficult to achieve. Keep pressure on your provider to get you a proper interface that is stabl...

Re: RemSTAR Auto M series with A flex problems
Display may not show anything. Remstar Classic breadloaf machines may simply quit dead, might be power supply. Remstar Classic breadloaf machines may quit during the night, flashing lights, error code E-8 for those who know how to read error codes. Repairing machines is questionable for those unable...

Re: Another ResMed APAP brick just released
An experienced CPAP user who tolerates it well may not want to pay for fancy features. Px adjustment is important however. I'm looking at compact machines as backup and for use on airplane. Unfortunately the cheaper of Apex models are AC only. (If a machine is designed to use 12vdc internally, then ...

Re: Is CAPAPMAN still in business?
Argh, I botched my first post about what Joe can supply. He now advises he can supply can supply either fixed or adjustable CONJO. The fixed is custom made to measurements you provide, instructions should be on his web site. You have to make sure you fully understand the points you are measuring fro...

Re: Now CPAPUSA has botched its web site
Clinical Sleep Solutions has potential. They claim to have storefronts with some products on hand, at least in the lower Fraser Valley of B.C. If ordering from them, note that the link to the shopping cart you started is obscured in the blue bar at the top right of the page. (Amazing how web weenies...

Re: Now CPAPUSA has botched its web site
Julie, I repeat that cost is not the most important thing - reliability is.
You don't want to be dealing wit an outfit that ships the wrong thing, botches product descriptions, or is devious.
And note what many people forget - shipping costs.

Re: Now CPAPUSA has botched its web site
Mark Somebody is said to be the owner of CPAPUSA, but the business may have been sold to him recently as he seems unfamiliar with the fact they had a web site earlier, not just the botched one and what they replaced it with very recently. He is “Marco Systems”, not to be confused with an IT consulti...

Re: Now CPAPUSA has botched its web site
Thanks. They have promise, light on stock, some old things life Swift II but few, missing some new things, have to register to see prices, no phone number regarding online ordering just a form. Sigh, methods proven 17 years ago to lose much business. I’ll talk to them once I dig up HQ phone number. ...

Pugsy, I repeat that is a change by the Respironics bureaucracy certainly.
A likely cause is that they protect sellers in other countries, but that results in high prices and more importantly poor service.
Nothing I want right now requires a prescription.

Re: Now CPAPUSA has botched its web site
Thankyou Julie.
They don't have what I want.
I'm not thrilled with medical providers, though I do know of a good operation near me.
(The exchange page in this forum has no entries for years.
I did sell a mask surplus to me, years ago.)
[I check eBay occasionally.]
