Re: Airsense Software Upgrade Out Now

How do I know if I received an upgrade? My humidifier won't work now for some reason. I just checked the software and have version SX 556-0204 (Humidifier only) SW-SX567-0302 (I assume is the main unit software??) Mine was brand new in February, and has been working perfectly until the last 2 nights...

Re: Machine Fault

I just got it in February. Thanks for the help, I think I will just take it in. These people won't even give you their phone number....Oh I just hate dealing with poor customer service.

Machine Fault

My machine has given me warning faults that the heater is no longer working. Everything else seems to work fine, but with no humidifier, I'm breathing dry air. Please don't tell me to go back to Apria, those people are crooks, they only want my money, won't talk live, and keep robo calling me to tel...

Re: Stop the leaks

LOL S Gearhart, Yes I am interested. "O" rings huh? You mean as in the black rubber rings I would find at the hardware store?? How do they stay attached to the nose pillows? Pugsie: Yes, I know what you mean, and I guess it will always be like this (Good nights and bad nights). Im now at the 6 1/2 w...

Re: Stop the leaks

Yes, I am a pilot. Not full scale though, R/C! Last night, I went a full 8 hours and 32 mins on the machine. Hit the sack about 10pm and didn't wake up until about 5:30am, NICE!! Mouth didn't open once (Don't know why) and no leaks! (Again, don't know why) My wife said I stayed in one position almos...

But recently I got a Pilaro Q, and for me it is better than both of the other ones.
Where do I find this Pilaro Q??

Stop the leaks

Hello fellow CPAP users. I need more help (Again) I really like using these nasal pillows, and on average manage to get 7-8 hours per night on the machine. Here's my problem: I have yet to sleep 7-8 hours straight. I know I am waking up 4-5 times per night. I can get back to sleep fairly quickly, an...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset

one other thing to check on the Airsense is the Air Outlet tube, it's removable for cleaning purposes and it's possible that it might not be "Clipped" into place properly.......just thought I'd mention it as another thing to check that could cause the noise you are describing.......make sure it is ...

Re: Lubricating nose pillows

Found it at Target stores. It is sold in the "Baby" section, as it is sold mainly to breast feeding mothers to soothe sore or chapped nipples. Might try it myself in that region, no wait a minute, that's not why I bought it

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset

Me 2. Don't get me wrong, the noise is not that bad. you get used to it very quickly, and my bed partner has never complained about the noise (She complains about a lot of other stuff, not related to sleep therapy, but that's another story). I am very happy with this machine. So far 3 weeks in, I am...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset

Yes, I have the same machine, and it does take some getting used to this sound. This is my first ever machine, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I'm on week 3 and I'm having no trouble falling asleep. After a while your inhalations become "White" noise. Although, I will admit I still wake u...

Lubricating nose pillows

I can't seem to find the thread here where someone suggested to use some sort of light oil to lubricate your nostrils when using nasal pillow mask. Last night i used just a tiny amount of Vaseline on the skin between my nostrils. This worked, to solve a discomfort I was having, where this part of my...

Re: Do I Really Need CPAP?

I switched to the P10 airpillows and they are so much easier to breathe through. I'm only in week 2 of my journey. Started with a nasal mask, but the pillows are soooo much better. I lowered my pressures Min/Max with the pillows since its so much easier to breathe. But I'm still waking up every few ...

So can we get back to the question about SH on a Mac please? I am still having trouble loading the software onto my Mac, I just looked and I am using OS 10.9.5.
