Re: CPAP is giving me crippling sinus headaches
Try turning down the humidity to a low level (if any at all) for a few nights and see if you still have a problem. 5 is a high setting and if you actually don't need it because local humidity is adequate, you're essentially giving yourself sinus trouble. I'll try tuning it down to 2 and use the non...

CPAP is giving me crippling sinus headaches
So these headaches have been increasing in intensity and it feels like it extends one nostil I breathe through presumably at night up to around around the left side of my head... I feel even worse off than I did pre-CPAP in some ways. I'm extremely tired and I feel as if the "high" I was initially h...

Re: Battery Backup Options?
I use a UPS as my emergency backup but its only good for around 1-2 hours. I have another battery backup that is DC to DC (Maxoak CPAP battery). If you want to make your UPS last a lot longer, tear out the inverter, and hook the cpap directly to the battery with the appropriate DC cable. That sound...

Re: Afrin nasal spray
I enjoyed using Afrin. More than one Dr told me NO No No. I've even bought OTC 'natural' sprays that have the same ingredient an I threw those out as well. Astelin Aerosol, Spray With Pump might be your friend. It's a non-addictive antihistamine. I use on occasion. Just use in moderation. I keep Si...

Re: Afrin nasal spray
Sinex Ultra-fine mist is pretty good on a particularly bad night... key is to not use it to often or for days/nights on end. Once every few days is fine I think.

Re: Has anyone heard of Bongo RX? Does it work?
Ouch...$250 and reusable for up to 90 days. Specific RX is required...unknown how insurance will look at it. Very new to the market. For mild to moderate OSA. And yes...appears to work like the Provent/Theravent worked by creating positive back pressure. Won't be easy to exhale through the nose and...

Re: Has anyone heard of Bongo RX? Does it work?
More chinese junk... costs less than a dollar to make and they rip off gullible consumers for pure profit. Opening up your nostrils a tiny bit isn't going to do anything. I severely doubt it requires a prescription and I've seen plenty of similar devices on Amazon saying they were cleared by the "FD...

Re: p10 vs p30i
Absolutely you are not alone! The P10 is the only mask I can tolerate. I have not tried the N30i however.roadcycler wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 7:59 amI usually have a hose cover on and draped up and over the headboard which mimics a hose hanger. Glad to hear that I am not the only one having trouble with the p30 .

Re: p10 vs p30i
I own both the P10 and P30i. I stopped using the P30i because I kept waking up when using it for some reason. I used a Snuggle hose cover with the P10 now and am much happier. Usually I drape the hose over my chest or tuck it under my buckwheat pillow.

F20, N20, P30i, now P10... P10 is my go-to mask for comfort. I can wear it all night without waking up.
